Even though with the moon high up in the sky and darkness looming around him the puffy tom couldn't feel himself getting tired at all. He just sat there near the center of camp staring up at the stars as they sparkled overhead I bet everyone at the gathering is haveing a good time...He couldn't help but feel envious for the cats that got to go to the gathering, he really wanted to go. After a while of driving around in his own thoughts he noticed out of the corner of his eye the white pelt of Whitefang glowing from the moonlight. The pure black maine coon rested quietly in his nest, the cats that were chosen to go out to the gathering were already gone and the camp was quiet and peaceful. The three-legged she-cat had snuck out of camp a while ago to get to the Thorn creek for a refreshing drink of water, and she happily trotted around as she did. The forest was strangly quiet at night with only a faint hoot of an Owl here and there. Then suddenly the sound of running water caught her attention but somthing was off Is there someone here..? Brightshadow asked herself when she caught the scent of another cat and it wasent the smell of any thornclan cat, she peeked her head out of the bushes slightly and saw a younger tom lapping at the water. "Rogue..." She growled to herself, staying in place and waiting for the perfect time to confront him
