Mintbreeze
Mintbreeze kept her large body down low in the tall grass, her bright ice-blue eyes sharp and alert. Her ears twitched as shaking grass made noise to her right. With calm and deadly precision, Mintbreeze leapt to her right, landing on the spot where the shaking grass was. A small squeak and the feeling of a tiny body squishing beneath her paws brought a large purr rumbling from her throat. Mintbreeze sunk her long, sharp claws into the mouse's body, leaning down to bite the wriggling mouse in the spine, killing it instantly. With a content sigh, Mintbreeze sat up, looking around at the open expanse where SunClan was at the moment. Mintbreeze liked being alone, and she was glad for the time to hunt, but she was secretly lonely. She didn't do well with change, and when she was upset, it was great to have a friend to talk to. Mintbreeze shook her head and picked up the mouse, swishing through the grass to find some more prey.

I'll try. You need to sit down, this may take a while. You see, she

So innocent, she seemed, but I was fooled I'm reminded when
I look at you, but, You remind of a girl, that I once knew. See
her face whenever I, I look at you. You won't believe all of the
things that she put me through. This is why I just can't get with you."

Emberflight, part of her name showing through, took a flying leap and landed on a branch at least a fox-length's away, her plumed tail streaming behind her. She landed with her claws dug into the back, and the Sparrow fluttering it's last movements in her mouth before falling limp. "How's that for being like a squirrel?" She teased in the usual flirty tone, making her way towards him by hopping from one branch to another.
Crookedtail.
With Emberflight.
Hunting!
Crookedtail purred in satisfaction as he watched her kill the bird swiftly. He panicked when she jumped, but was relieved to see her land safely on a branch. Something about Emberflight made him smile. " Not bad..for a squirrel." He teased, skipping a few fox lengths ahead of her on the ground.
(slap me for lack of muse. Dx)
{Just realized that there is only one tree where they are, so shall we say they are hunting in the branches of the large tree? XD There is no forest yet. /shot }
Emberflight rolled her eyes jokingly, leaping along the branch until she met the trunk with her claws before scurrying down the thick base; Yes, quite like a squirrel. She deposited the sparrow at the roots and started to dig a shallow hole, large enough for both pieces of prey. The ginger she-cat scooted to the side to allow Crookedtail to lay his prey beside hers and cover it back up, drawing a paw over her ears with a quick swipe to clean them. "My mother used to joke that I should have been named Squirrelpaw as an apprentice because I always loved to climb the trees and stay hidden for hours. Especially when it came time to clean out the elder's den." She mreowed in laughter.

{ for Lady Masquerade and Bati }{.zσкєтι.} wrote: The young she-cat pricked up her ears. Spiderpaw was talking to her. She swiveled her head around to focus her teal gaze upon the other medicine apprentice. His suggestion was a grand one; one were she could actually do something. With a swish of her long, thickly-furred tail Sprucepaw was poised to move. "Oh, of course!" she replied in her soft mew. She raised her head to blink around at the temporary camp, then returned her attention to Spiderpaw.
Raccoonstrike stared through the mix of cats that were milling about. The Clan had indeed swelled considerably, and the pelts that flashed through the land were of every hue. He pricked his ears, and began to sniff out his new apprentice, Duskpaw. He had seen the younger tom a few times, and was thankfully aware of what he looked and smelled like. Before long, the mottled warrior spotted the black apprentice next to another cat, Wolfpaw, and padded quickly over with his tail tip twitching. His chartreuse gaze scanned the his new apprentice, from his sleek ebony pelt to the scar on his throat. Nervousness boiled up in Raccoonstrike's mind; excitement as well, but he pushed it away as he came to a halt in front of the two younger cats. "Greetings." he meowed, a statement directed to both Duskpaw and Wolfpaw.

Flutterpaw looked puzzled. If you were supposed to catch rabbits with two warriors, why was she having to do it on her own? After a moment of thought, she made her way over towards the scent of the rabbit. Pausing when the rabbit came within striking distance, she looked around. Spying a small pebble to her left, she scooped it up with a paw, and attempted to angle herself back. Tossing it clumsily, it landed on the opposite side of the twitchy prey. As expected, the rabbit bolted. Unexpectedly, a few feet to the right of Flutterpaw. The apprentice bolted after it, striking at it's back legs with her outstretched front paws in an attempt to trip it up. Much to the dismay of the student, it slipped down a hole behind a tree root before she could get to it. Flutterpaw stood panting over the hole, her claws dug into the ground in disappointment and her head hung as she tried to catch her breath.

Sprucepaw gave a slight nod, although she wasn't sure her companion had seen since had stood up already. She followed quickly, rising to her paws and giving her tail a quick shake as she padded after Spiderpaw. She was content to be gathering cobwebs with him; he seemed to be in a very good mood. And she thought it good to be making friends. That was definitely not her forte. She weaved through the stalks, her teal eyes searching for the sparkling strands of web. She spread out further from the other medicine apprentice, still able to see him through the grass, but a giving them a more widespread chance of collecting. It wasn't long before glistening silver threads caught her eye. She hurried over and swathed her paw in it, turning back to see Spiderpaw had already gotten his first. She lifted her thick tail, then focused her attention on searching for more.
