Featherheart licked her kittens, eyes aglow with pride. Once again she wished Thornheart could have been here to see them, but she knew he was watching from StarClan. In fact, she thought she could just smell his familiar scent in the air. She examined her kittens. There were two females, and two males. The last kitten, a small black male, was looking a bit sickly. "Is he okay?" she asked, licking the top of his head.

Flowerheart looked at the small kit. She sniffed him. "Maybe he needs something." she said to Fallensong.
