Ashpaw shook his head at Fallenpaw's question, "Not for like 3 moons at least." He said to her as he thought of his training and his mentor.

"Oh." Fallenpaw had suddenly remembered that Ashpaw was only a moon old. The tabby female watched the outsiders ceremony in silence, only giving a half-hearted cheer when it was finished.

Spikeflame shook his head unhappily. He stood, slipping around the back of the group, heading out of camp.


"They won't be," Sootnose said. "I'll help you."

ooc;; recap, okay well let's see what I can remember. starfall was finally buried by heartstar, crowstar, and foxcloud. a few apprentices were chatting when sandstar came back into camp with echo, a loner. she invited him to join the clan, which of course didn't please some cats, and he became nightecho. sootnose and stormpaw are off in search of flowers to put on starfall's grave, as the warrior was denied the opportunity to bury his sister due to his "mental health". i believe that's the major stuff but anyone else can pipe in if i missed anything.


Stormpaw gave him a confused look, he wasn't her mentor why would he do that, "Why?" Her question was filled with curiosity as she wondered what possessed the warrior into wanting to help train her. Sure Goldstripe wasn't always the greatest mentor, in Stormpaw's eyes, but surely Sootnose wouldn't think lowly of the golden warrior to take over her apprentice. Shaking her head, the runt knew she was way overthinking the offered help.

Sootnose simply shrugged. "Why not? Your a Clanmate. It's what Clanmates do."

Coalpaw stopped. "Wait. I cant find Shadedecho, so stay here. Maybe there will be a patrol. I dunno, but i'll have to find a warrior." he meowed nervously to Finch. He had made quite a friend in the loner and she was nice if you look past the fact that she was a loner. He looked into her eyes. "I'm really sorry..." he muttered.

Finch nodded. Ok... I'll wait. I don't mind.

(Could some cat find Finch (Or find Coalpaw) and bring her to Sandstar so that Coalpaw can stop coming into the forest...?)

Sootnose simply shrugged. "Why not? Your a Clanmate. It's what Clanmates do."

Stormpaw paused and then shrugged, "Wel-" She cut herself off as her crystal blue eyes caught a glimpse of the little white plant of their adventure. "Sootnose!" She practically yelled in excitement, "Look!" Pointing with her tail the gray apprentice ran towards the flower patch and waited for the warrior to catch up.

Ashpaw just nodded at Fallenpaw, he really didn't have anything specific to say. When the meeting was over, the tom stayed where he had been with the other two apprentices, "How has your training been going?"
