A flirty smile crossed the she-cat's face as she darted from branch to branch, leaving the thoughts of Lynxfur behind. Her eyes sparkled brighter, and she crouched silently as the scent wafted from a notch in the tree. Sparrow...
Emberflight, part of her name showing through, took a flying leap and landed on a branch at least a fox-length's away, her plumed tail streaming behind her. She landed with her claws dug into the back, and the Sparrow fluttering it's last movements in her mouth before falling limp. "How's that for being like a squirrel?" She teased in the usual flirty tone, making her way towards him by hopping from one branch to another.

(If it's cool with Calico, Crookedtail would be her mentor, and is it okay if Silverkit(paw) comes with Crookedtail and Emberflight to hunt?)

{It's fine with me, but you'd have to wait a day or so, RP time, for the ceremony. Silverkit could come with them, but she'd still be a kit at this point, if an apprentice-aged one.}

Frostwing paused as Eaglestar and her apprentice came over, for it seemed the leader was also joining the patrol. This seemed to cause the she-cat to be a bit nervous. She was the only regular warrior, on this patrol. The rest were apprentices and then there was the Deputy and Leader. Not to mention she was the one giving out orders for the moment. "Well, considering we don't have a set territory, showing them around wouldn't be the best thing to do. I was thinking that we would focus on hunting, since the clan does need more prey. Also, since they are older then six moons, it would be smart to see how far they are in their hunting training." She meowed softly, looking at Eaglestar and Pebblerun to see if they approved.

"That sounds like an excellent idea." replied Eaglestar with a smile. "Any particular place you have in mind? It's mostly plains out there. There's no forest, but we could try to find a tree or two." Remembering the other mentors were from RainClan, she added; "Or would you like to try fishing at the river?"

"Oh, hi!" Shadowpaw pipes. "Viperpaw, right?" he asks, although he was positive that Viperpaw was her name. It never hurt to be polite, right? Or...was that considered polite? Oh, what did it matter-he was talking. "So, I heard that Pebblerun is your mentor, right?" he meows casually.

"Nah, Viperpaw's with Frostwing." interjected Lightpaw, twitching her whiskers with amusement. "Pebblerun's my mentor. Oh, and I'm Lightpaw." She added quickly, not sure if she'd spoken to Shadowpaw before. He seemed familiar, but she decided it would be better to be safe by introducing herself.

Echostep squeaked as she was kicked off and crouched wondering if maybe she attacked the wrong cat "no it is you! ya its me! how did you survive?!" she asked padding closer sniffing him to make sure it was really him and not some look alike that knew her name, she felt her heart thump against her chest, she was happy to see one of her clan member that almost brought tears to her eyes.

"I should be the one asking you that." replied Pineclaw, stunned. "Where were you? We all thought you were dead!"

Leopardpaw thought for a moment, "There's a spot by one of the streams." she smiled eagerly, "That's where we get moss. It's not far from here." Leopardpaw spun around, planning the way to travel. Absent mindedly she spoke, staring out at the territory beyond, she could almost see the cool water. "There isn't much prey, so we won't be distracted, and nobody will hunt there.." Leopardpaw continued with her usless mumbling, "..I think they've collected the last batch of moss for a while." She spun around, looking up at her mentor. "So I suppose it's a perfect spot?" she meowed, her tone was unsure, it was almost a question.

"I suppose it is." replied Miststep with a warm smile. "Why don't you lead the way?"

Leopardpaw smiled, bounding through the clearing. It took what seemed to her as only a few heartbeats to reach their destination. She sat by the stream as Miststep shortly reached her side. Leopardpaw grinned, "What are we going to start with?"

Duskblaze cocked her head at the strangest request, but nodded. "I'll admit I am curious as to why I shouldn't let him see them, but I'm guessing you have you're reasons so I'll keep them under control until you get back," she mewed calmly back to the tom. She had to wonder what all this was really about though because it honestly didn't make sense to the queen. 'Unless something happened between them all,' she thought as she glanced down at the three young kits now in her care. The calico she-cat couldn't help smiling a bit. They were adorable little creatures.

[size=95]"I should be the one asking you that." replied Pineclaw, stunned. "Where were you? We all thought you were dead!"

Echostep shook her head "no i was in the other side of the woods, but my kits died, but how did you live?!" she circled him happily "ugh i cant believe it you!" she tackled him again laughing. (wb)

Swallowpaw smiled "thankyou Duskblaze i owe you one!" he bowed his head and raced back to his mentor glad she didnt ask infront of his siblings, she could ask he had no will power over that but he wouldnt have answered if it was inront of his siblings. The apprentice made it back to his Mentor "im ready" he grinned.

Bumblekit cuffed her brothers ear "come on Coalkit speak, Speak little kitten" she chuckled, Coalkit swatted her paw away "Listen Bumble im busy watching the apprentices play with each other so i can know moves early then i can impress my mentor who will tell Eaglestar and she'll be so impressed to make me her deputy!" he purred going off into dream land. Littlekit giggled lightly at her siblings before looking up at Duskblaze.

Mintbreeze has long, creamy white fur. It is her most stunning feature. Her fur can hardly be compared to any other pelt. Mintbreeze has sharp ice-blue eyes that will almost always be seen hardened with seriousness for the task ahead. She is quite large for a she-cat, with massive paws and a broad build. She has long, dangerous claws as well, which she sharpens daily. Mintstar is a beautiful yet strong she-cat.

Personality

Mintbreeze has a tough outer shell, one that no cat has ever broken. Mintstar takes every task and duty she is given as a job needed to be done as best as it can be done. She is fiercely loyal and incredibly brave. She would, without hesitation, help a frail elder or a helpless kit. Mintbreeze believes deeply in StarClan as well and if you speak unfaithfully in them with her nearby, you will get a cuff across the head, one that will leave you a little tipsy. Or, she might give you a harsh lecture. Mintbreeze is smart and creative. When she is without stress, she relaxes and laughs, makes jokes, and has fun. Mintbreeze can be a free she-cat but most of the time, she is serious and quiet.

Mintbreeze isn't all positives. She has flaws. Mintbreeze is quick to act and can make bad decisions. She also has trust issues and most think of her as snark and mean. Mintbreeze has her ups and downs but she always means the best.

Frostwing thought about this for a few moments. She hadn't gone fishing in a while, and loved doing such a thing. She hadn't eaten a fresh fish in a bit either, and missed doing that with cats that had managed to be her friend. However, this trip wasn't about her. It was about the apprentices, and none of them were from RainClan. "Considering none are from RainClan, I doubt the apprentices depend on fishing. I would prefer to see where their skills currently lie, so taking them to some trees or the plains would be a good idea." She meowed, hoping her decision was a good one.

Shadowpaw flattened his ears to his head in embarrassment "Oh...right. I forgot." he mumbles bashfully. He shakes his head quickly, as if he was falling asleep. "Sorry about that, my name is Shadowpaw. It's great to meet both of you." he mews to the she-cats. "I've never exactly been out for training before. I was only able to leave camp once with my last mentor. How much do you both know from training?" he asks, glancing from one she-cat to the other.

Leopardpaw smiled, bounding through the clearing. It took what seemed to her as only a few heartbeats to reach their destination. She sat by the stream as Miststep shortly reached her side. Leopardpaw grinned, "What are we going to start with?"

Miststep didn't speak immediately, looking over the clearing with soft blue eyes. She began to circle it, testing the moss with her paws. She paused, flicking a jagged stone out of the hollow. She completed the circle, and finding nothing else, sat down. Wrapping what was left her tail around her paws, she looked up at Leopardpaw. "No two cats fight exactly the same way." she began. "We all have different strengths and weaknesses. To begin, we'll have to find out what yours are." She got to her paws, then slipped into a fighting crouch. "I'm a rogue, and I've attacked you while you're hunting alone. What do you do?"

Cloudstrike kept walking. As he heard Falconpaw getting closer, he paused in the forest. " So, what do you smell, Flaconpaw?" He asked.

Falconpaw's tail lashed and she glared furiously at Cloudstrike. Did he think she just turned six moons old? How condescending, she was already eleven moons old! "I'm not some kit out of the nursery! Foxstar already taught me how to scent!" She spat angrily, digger her claws into the dirt. Remembering what Spiderpaw had said, she took a deep breath to scent the area. If the idiot wanted her to smell the air, then she'll smell the air like a boss. "I smell tons of dusty dirt, this stupid tall grass, some birds not to far away, the faint scent of mice, and the river that's close by." She listed proudly. She glanced around, there was not much the see when there was tall grass everywhere. By the time they reached the forest, she was going to permanently had the color gold, or anything close to it.
