Skyironic flicked his tail, swating a few flys and warding of others. His skin twitched whenever a fly landed on him. "Nope, don't know him and hope I don't meet him. Other then that, I'm guessing your Day went well?"Skyironic lifted his head as he looked around at the different Equids. "its nice here. Maybe I can ask the lead stallion If i could join his band. I wouldn't mind a few friends." Skyironic thought to himself as he looked around.

Famous drifted from the herd having no one to talk to. a few yards away she grazed but glanced at the others every now and then.

Heartz ran up to halo and the new stallion "Your back!" She said to him and begins to ask if he wants to race again but then she remembers his bad leg and looses the idea.

Skyironic skittted,back when the young mare raced up, a suprised and slitly alarmed look on his face.He quickly relaxed. "Um, hello" He said, blinking his Golden eyes.

Livius sighed to himself, thinking of how to portray the events that had occurred by the river with the least amount of drama possible.
"Well, I had this feeling that something was wrong, especially after Halo and the yearling hadn't returned. I already had a suspicion that Halo is a very responsible stallion and to be gone that long, especially with that limp of his... I don't know," he said with a shrug, ears flickering back for a second to accentuate the slight inability to explain his thinking, "I just felt like something bad happened. I found Halo by the river kind of cornered by this rogue stallion. He was grey in color, older. The yearling ran past me earlier, so I knew she was safe. With his bum leg, I figured that Halo would want back-up, so I stood by him and tried to look foreboding. Halo said I looked somewhat evil!" The laugh bubbled up from inside and his violet eyes twinkled in delight. "I never felt evil, just like a support. The stallion tried to grab at Halo, but then retreated. Then we walked back here and now I'm standing next to you." The grullo stallion's grin was echoed in his proud posture.

canad was more observant than most equids, seeing the light in the new mare's eyes as a stallion walked up his hill. he snorted, flicking his tail. "i was not implying that..." he said, smiling at bandit, her caramel fur in the wind was shining. his darker mane and tail standing up, watching the large number of fine stallions around him. he was wondering in the back of his head, one hidden part for selfishness, he wondered if they would ever try to overthrow him. he began to pace, almost hitting halo with his tail, flicking. he stopped on a dime, his hooves dug into the ground. "s... sorry. just thinking..." he leaned his fine brown head down to graze. he relaxed his tail, letting it sweep the ground.he kept a sharp eye on any action between his mares and the stallions. he snorted and mentally smacked himself. stop being a selfish fool, canad!

Halo

Halo grinned, shrugging. "Well, I can't complain. Had a nice time at the shallows today with the little filly, H..." Before he could even finish her name, she was bounding up to his side. A surprised chuckle rolled from his chest as he took in her excitment, giving a playful snort in her direction. He couldn't help but notice how Skyronic jumped at the fillys sudden appearance. "Heartz! Yeah, that loner was no trouble. He shouldn't be bothering us again for a while. Make sure you stay close to the others though, just for a while." he told her confidently, giving the stallion a reassuring nod. This stallion had been through a lot, he could tell just by looking at him. Definately jumpy, like he was always partially on the verge of a bolt. Like he'd never relaxed a single day in his life. Halo himself had always been keen enough to avoid danger, so he didn't have many horror stories to tell. But this guy... At that moment, he felt the air from Canad's tail sweap over his flanks. He shot forward a few paces, quickly turning as the stallion explained himself. He cocked his head to the side, giving a breathy chuckle. "Hey, don't be too hard on yourself buddy." he replyed in a light hearted tone, his tail swishing on the ground as the equid began nervously grazing. There was something on his mind, but he couldn't quite pin point it.

I nodded as I listened to Livius and chuckled as he laughed, "Wait, I think I saw that stallion before, when Halo confronted him across the river." I said and thought back to the hostile stallion, lowering my gaze to the grass in thought, and then looked back to Livius. "I'm just gald that you and Halo weren't hurt." I said with a smile and a happy flick of my tail.

"Yes, that same stallion. He's a very persistent for a rogue..." The grullo stallion's voice faded off as he mulled over the possibilities of a cause for such desperation. His eyes wandered to the far mountains as he wondered. Loneliness? That he understood, to a point, along with the need for company. An urge to control others? He knew he would be a questionable candidate for a lead stallion; he was too kind at times. The need to see one's own foals running through the herd? A blush touched his dark cheeks as he glanced back over at Dolce and the redness deepened with her comment. "I'm glad that we weren't hurt either. It looked like we were going to have to deal with physical fighting for a second or two, but thank goodness nothing happened. I just wanted to get back to you." That last sentence was spoken sotto-voce, so softly that it was all breath.

"Okay." Heartz smiled " Whos this?" She asked looking at the new stallion.

Bandit
Bandit's rose-hued gaze flicked back to Canad, catching on the play of the lighter brindling over his dark coat. She shook her mane again, feeling repressed and wishing for something to reprive her from the heat. She offered no answer but a courteous inclination of her head that at the same time was telling him she thought him wrong. But, she mused, it was probable he didn't even notice her, as he began to pace and nervously crop at the grass. She would have asked what was bothering him, but then, it wasn't her place. And Bandit supposed there were many things for a lead stallion to worry about- rogues, mares, herd stallions, drought and famine, winter, harsh weather, locusts even. Sweeping the silken strands of her tail over her flanks, Bandit gazed with faraway eyes in the distance, to where the lazy snake of a river lay a glittering silver ribbon through the hills. What she wouldn't give for a swim right now.
