Star doubled back and crept into her cave. After leaving a scent trail through the mazes for Daemon to follow, she curled up and fell asleep.

Daemon scoffed."This is no challenge." He said walking through the cave.

Star rolled over. In her dream, she was reliving her last days in her old pack.

Dæmon stopped. Great, a dead end. Well I can fix that. He thought as he jumped over the rock in his way. He saw a little snake, a rattlesnake. He whined. He grabbed the snake by the back of it neck, he carried it to the end of the maze.

Star's dream was approaching the part where the hunters had brought her mother home, dead, but when they entered camp, the dead wolf wasn't her mother, it was Daemon. She woke up yelling, "Daemon!"

Daemon licked her face and set the snake down. "Hello honey. What is wrong?" He sat and wagged his tail waiting to see her surprized face.(I know it is surprised but, I like my way better.)Cali walked up to him."Take this stupid pup and give him a bath." She shoved the pup toward Star and Dæmon.

"I'll tell you later." Star said looking at the pup. "What's your name, little one?And, Daemon, how did Cali get in here?"

Daemon looked at her."She can dissapear then reapear in a place one of her pack members is in. But she has to use a lot of energy, this is the first time she has done it." Rhaza barked. Daemon looked at him"This is Rhaza."

"Ah. Well, I'm glad she rarely does it." Star began washing Rhaza.

"Yes,she is probably just mad. Sorry about her."Daemonlicked Rhaza. Rhaza whined and kicked at being washed.
