Scarlet growled, biting onto Grim´s leg. She shook her head, still holding on. "Ugh!" She shouted, clawing at him as she panted. Scarlet usually wasn´t this into fighting, but sometimes she had to. "Why won´t you let me do what I want foul thing!" She spat, baring her teeth at him with her ears laid against her head.

Darwin got a chill as the female dog jumped on him. He didn't know why everyone in these parts of the woods was so angry. "I already told you guys, I'm just looking around, trying to find a place to camp for the night. I mean you or your group no harm. Really. i am on my own no worries from me. Im as gentle as a fly.. well... most of the time" Darwin said. "You guys think the humans will kill me? Shoot. So far the only thing i'm worried about killing me is other dogs. What do you have against the humans?" Darwin sat up and shook his body

Grim spun his head around, losing his temper and grabbing her by the scruff, ripping her off of his leg and tossing her aside. "Because this is my territory, not yours!" He snarled, sounding more like a roaring bear, and bared his teeth. "If you want to be leader, kill me! Go ahead, kill me!" He lifted his head, showing his neck. His fur and skin was thick, but the bite on his leg had sunken in deeply. He didn't care. "No, unless you want to challenge my leadership here, then stop interfering!" He lowered his head back down, and narrowed his crimson eyes at her. Grim turned to Darwin at his question. "Those murderous monsters are taking over the forest and killing the dogs here." He didn't take his eyes off of Scarlet.

"I know a clearing alittle away from here," Kiara offered.Suddenly realizing he was carrying the badgers and their size, she decided to be her noble self."Do you need help carrying those?" she asked calmly.To her it was no big deal strength was in her blood.Her gaze was gentle, deep within it swirled a new emotion.An emotion not realized to her nor seeable by him, not yet.The emotion was compassion.However, the emotion was only a small bud, not a full blossom.Kiara, with her overconfidence was eager to overpay the favor no matter what it took.Ears perked once more for sights of threats, she didn't make it too obvious.

"Okay" Arber said. While she was in the back, a Mother and her child walked past. "Mommy, can I pet the puppy?" Right now, since Storm wasn't here to see it, he would love a pat on the head. "Ugh! Don't touch that filthy thing! I'm calling the pound!"the mother screamed. Arber lunged at her and bit her hand. Just then, he noticed a man across the street pulling out his cellphone. He knew he had to find Storm. He jumped in the back and called for her. "STORM! We have to go, NOW!"

"Maybe you aren´t meant to be leader!" She shouted, launching at him again. She grabbed his neck, shaking him with all her might. She couldn´t lose this one, not at all. She would take him as a prize and be claimed champion among the dogs.

Darwin was hunched his back and lowered his head, he didn't like seeing dogs fight, but he wasn't going to get in the middle of them. It seemed like something they had to settle on there own. Darwin closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "There not all monsters" he said "there are good humans out there. maybe you just haven't found the right ones yet. Every now and then I will come cross some that feed me, some even try to bring me in there home, but i don't go. I like living in the forest, but the companionship of a human is nice sometimes too" he finished as he scratched a flea on his ear.

Donte shook his head. "I'm fine, really. It's nothing." He smiled, and shook the badgers from side to side. It was as if he were carrying three little mice, instead of three enormous badgers between his teeth. His powerful neck muscles were tensed, and showed rippling beneath his thick fur. "I'm more than capable of carrying them, just show me where we're going."

Grim sighed, and let her shake for a moment before grabbing her by the scruff again and tossing her right up into the air. He growled. "I'm not going to kill you, Scarlet, but I will knock you unconscious if you keep this up." He waited, ready to pin her down at her next attack. He wanted to know the meaning of what she had said. Grim's only response to Darwin was a flick of the ear and a slight grunt.

Storm busted through the glass of the shop, and spotted what she was looking for. A light leather sled harness and a long, powerful chain with a latch on the end. When she heard Arber shout, she ran through the front window, and ran opposite the direction they had come. "This way! We can't lead them to the camp!" She darted between the buildings, knowing Arber would be able to follow her scent, and waited by an opening in the fence.

"You don´t understand do you!" Scarlet yelled, running off. She growled, howling much like a wolf. Scarlet vowed to herself never to go back, until he came and apologized for everything and for killing an Aztec, as well as much more he did.

Kiara nodded and led the way.However, deep down she was doubting he was telling the truth.After awhile of padding she entered a clearing in the trees, completely empty except for the small white blossoms on the outside of the clearing.Her eyes gleamed at her so-called home.In the clearing was a patch of grass, flattened from where she had rested the past few nights.The place wasn't nice like a den, but comfortable and warm just the same.The place reminded her of the clearing she traveled through with her old friend.As much as it pained her to do so, she pushed the thought away and sat down in the middle of the clearing.
