Rainstar stepped forward and dipped her head. "You must be Skystar; I'm Rainstar." The tabby she-cat sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws. "One of my warriors was concerned when she saw cats marking territory. I came to make sure no one was trying to steal MarshClan's territory. And instead to our surprise, we find another clan! We've been the only ones in the forest for... forever really. I don't recall ever hearing stories about other clans around here when I was a kit."

personality ;; Smallwhisker has always been on the softer side. He has a great sense of humor and is almost to nice to be legal. He will readily accept anyone with a heartbeat but he has a he=ard time fighting for what he wants. Truth be, the poor tom hardly even knows what he wants in the first place.

history ;; Smallwhisker was born and raised in Marshclan and was even given a warrior name until one day, he left the life of a clan cat. His whereabouts were unknown to everyone except his sister who took days to visit him until the travels to the city became to much. After all, who would want to visit a tom that left his clan to live the life of a kittypet? As a kittypet, he was named Peter and lived next to another, slightly grumpy young tom, Dexter. With his companion, life was tolerable as he told the cat of his many adventures with the clan. Things would have been alright if Dexter's twolegs hadn't declawed the grumpy cat. It was then that Peter convinced Dex that he should go find that clan he was talking about and left him with the passing wish to keep his sister Silvertail safe. Now alone, Peter -er Smallwhisker -or whatever, plummeted further and further into dismay and regret. He knew he could never join Marshclan again as he was already disgraced but he also couldn't stand the life of a kittypet any longer. So he left his home and his twoleg collar behind and became a loner who traveled and went where the breeze carried him. That's how he came across a moving clan on their own journey away from their old home. Stricken with optimism, he asked to join and was accepted as a full warrior once again. He swore loyalty to his new clan as they had taken him in when he had truly nowhere or nothing to belong to. But his optimism quickly faded as the Earthclan journeyed closer and closer to the territory he had since left behind him. And now, as Earthclan borders Marshclan, will he be able to keep his existence in the clan a secret or be forced to come face to face with his past.... and his sister?

personality ;; Foxpaw has a quirky personality as he always speaks with logic rather than emotion. He is abonormaly friendly though his logical sense of thinking sometimes leaves him blurting out the wrong things. His favorite thing to do when not learning is lying down on his back and watch the sky as he contemplates what life would be like if he could fly. Foxpaw is a dreamer and has a mischevious way about him and he woould make a great friend if you could get past his know-it-all attitude.

history ;; Foxpaw grew up in Earthclan and has lived a completely normal life besides the whole, twolegs are ruining the world deal. However, during the destruction of his old home, his father was taken and his mother died on the journey, leaving him an orphan.

" We were a day's travel east," she flicked her tail," But we had no way to communicate with Starclan. We were hoping to find one. Oh! I've forgotten, what is your name and what is your clan?" Skystar was kind and fair, but wanted to know as much as she could from the new neighbors.

Emberpaw's gaze landed on the other apprentices and he locked eyes with the one that seemed to be unsheathing her own claws. With a small grin, he he let the moonlight glint off his teeth in a way to warn her to put the claws away. However, he was in complete control of his actions. He wasn't the same tom he was two moons ago that would leap into battle just if another cat so much as looked at him funny. It had taken a lot of self-discipline to train himself to hold back and restrain himself, but he still liked to silently challenge others, even if the 'others' in question were quite attractive.

"Rainstar, leader of MarshClan." She smiled. "We live deeper into the forest behind us." Rainstar turned her head back to look towards where she knew the border was. "Ah yes, we have the Starpools to communicate with StarClan. They're above our territory, a little ways north from here actually."

Poppypaw unsheathed her claws, eyes flashing in warning to him, and frowned at her fellow apprentice. She flicked her ear, annoyed. This young cat was handsome, but asking for trouble. Since her mother had died, she had been a bit more on edge. She tried to cover up her feelings with anger and determination. She blinked her leaf green eyes and bristled her silver fur. She saw him looking at Echopaw and surprisingly felt a pang of jealousy.


Skystar's eyes flashed," May we use it on half moons? I know we're imposing, but we've no where else to go, or communicate with out warrior ancestors."

"Of course. Who are we to stop you from communicating with your ancestors? The Starpools are neutral territory and are a place of peace. If you would like, I could show you to them now." Rainstar glanced at the apprentices who seemed to be having a silent dominance battle, before looking back at Skystar.

Almost as if he could sense the other apprentice, his eyes flicked over to the one who was unsheathing her claws as well. Get a load of these she-cats, he thought in amusement as he his eyes danced with an air of mischief. With a low purr that was more of a chuckle, his fur flattened and he sat down calmly next to his leader, licking his paw as if nothing happened. Nothing was going to happen anyways. If a fight would be breaking out, it would have been him who started it. And as much as he was dying for action in this drab lifestyle, he couldn't bring himself to disobey a direct order. What a shame.
