Sorrelclaw felt very surprised when Nightpaw returned to the killpile. She waited to see what he was doing. She could see he secretly liked that little boost of confidence and smiled, mirroring his expression. When he slid the mouse over to her, she beamed with mixed emotions, mostly pride and amusement. She looked down at the mouse, then at Nightpaw again, puzzling over why he gave the mouse to her. She then sniffed it tentatively and reached over to Nightpaw to give him a tiny lick on the head, the cat equivalent to a friendly hug. "Aw, thank you," Sorrelclaw said awkardly, not knowing how to respond. "I would take this, but elders eat first." Sorrelclaw felt like she had just scolded the apprentice, so she smiled sweetly to soften her reply.

(Haha, it sounds like Nightpaw isn't too keen on Triggerpaw. c:)

He smiled at Lightpaw. His heart bubbled inside him in happiness. A new friend? Great! "What do you want to do now?" He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. [Sorry for short post!]

Tigerfoot returned to camp, stiffly holding the catmint leaves in his jaws, still being absolutely careful not to puncture a single leaf. He walked into the medicine cat den and set them near the herb storage. "I'll put them here," he called to Shyshadow and Deadpaw, since he didn't know where to put them in accordance to their.. stocking methods. He stretched, walking out of the den and glancing around. The sun was beginning to set, already. He breathed a sigh of surprise. It wasn't that long of a day, but it obviously did take awhile to get to the flower valley by walking. Since he hadn't eaten anything that day, he decided to go grab something and then head to sleep. Tigerfoot approached the fresh kill pile, quickly grabbing a small vole [because he wanted to save the bigger stuff for the clan] and digging in. He devoured the creature swiftly, and lifted himself from the ground, glancing briefly around camp.

Adderfur's gaze slowly lifted to the sky; he nearly exhaled in relief. It was nearly twilight, now. "The sun is setting. Tomorrow," he promised in a quiet voice. He'd heard the excited tone nearly hidden in the depths of the apprentice's voice and felt obliged to take him hunting, considering he'd given him the offer in the first place. He ignored his retort about the badger, but amusement flickered through his gaze for a brief moment. Flicking his tail in a gesture to say 'follow me,' he began padding towards camp.

"Oh.. We should probably go home. I-it's getting dark. Maybe we can t-train together tomorrow," she suggested shyly, shuffling her paws as she glanced at the ground. Lightpaw didn't want to leave, but.. Well, they had to go by the rules, and that's how it was. That's the one thing that had always stuck permanent in the she-cat's head. The clan rules. If they stayed out, the clan would get worried, and that wouldn't be good. Lightpaw turned towards camp, violet eyes sparkling. ".. I had a lot of fun even if it was short.. Thanks, Triggerpaw," She purred, glancing at Triggerpaw with a nearly sickly-sweet smile. She didn't even stutter; maybe having a friend made some of her anxiousness go away.

He padded after her, smiling. "I had lots of fun too. I'd love to train with you too," He added, eyes sparkling. Great, a new friend! Maybe someday wecould become more than that.. Probably not. I doubt she likes me back.

"W-Wait wha-" Ｆrostpaw blinked once, twice, before she fully grasped hold of the situation she was currently in. That little-! Holding back a purr of laughter, the silver apprentice sprang off and after the older apprentice in front of her, her mind focused solely on catching up, on overtaking and of winning. With the sun setting below the horizon, Frostpaw dashed out of the camp's entrance, each paw in front of her another step closer to Ｂrightpaw. So close!
The she-cat slowed.
It's getting hard to breathe. I shouldn't have started off so quickly...
