Dawnlight lunged at the charging dog. She held on to the dog's back with her sharp claws. Dawnlight raked her claws on the dog's back.

She stood lowering her head to eat the mouse and ate it in seconds before turning to go to work at the medicine cat den.

The dog tried to snap at her, but was unable to turn its big head at face her. Dawnlight's hold was slipping fast, she kept biting and scratching the dog, but it was no use. The dog was stronger.

(Sure, it would be a little awkward if Mintpaw suddenly knew Dawnlight was hurt)

Dawnlight kept attacking the dog, but her blows becoming weaker and weaker by every heartbeat.

Suddenly, the dog threw Dawnlight off, the she-cat went crashing onto the ground, her body limp.
