Amsterdam laughed. "He's very... shall we say, well... defiant."

The kitten turned to him, a glint of defiance in its eyes - see, just my point, Amsterdam thought. "No, I'm not!"

Amsterdam simply rolled his eyes.

A tiny shadow down a dark alley, deep emerald eyes warily scanning the cold ground, paws aching. Food. A thought bubbled through a hungry mind, Kavrina's mind. Food! The scramble of rat feet was clumsy, but near, and the skinny, skeleton-like cat crouched low, her belly brushing the ground. Banner twitching with anticipation, the striped beast crept closer, the scent of her prey growing stronger. Then, insticint took in, and she pounced, claws fierce and eyes sharp with fury. Kavrina felt warm flesh under her talons, and, with a satisfying purr, she dug her muzzle into the flesh, about to engulf the prey. Yuck. The rat was obviously diseased, small, and weak. The meat was stringy, gross, but good enough to fuel her. The cat slunk on, aware.

(Umm. I don't really know. XD Sahara is the leader of the group of she-cats, consisting of Diesel, Sky, and Colline. This evil cat, Dusk, wants to hurt Colline, and Nala, Sahara's sister, and her mate, Niko, are helping them find a safe place. Two toms, Sparrow and Amsterdam, are with them. Colline was talking about her brothers, who joined a group of cats who torture other cats they don't deem fit to be, well, cats, or even alive, and they heard a few cats, eight cats, in that group, torturing a kitten. I forget how old he is. XD Maybe eight months? ^.^; Anyways, now they're all fighting~.... :3)

Kavrina settled down after consuming the rat, curled between two reeking dumpsters. The smell of rot and trash was almost overpowering, but the she-cat's sharp nostrils caught something fresh---cat. Clumsily steadying herself upright, Kavrina stretched, disgustedly flicked a paper bag off her paw and trotted off to the scent, tail hail, chin up. Cat. Now, the scent was stronger, and the gray tabby smelled many cats, strays for sure. Her eyes bright and hopeful, she approached the source, spying some strays. Mewing excitedly, she sat in the shadow of a trashcan, hoping that the reek would mask her scent.
