[Added two new characters to the Clan, hopefully my little characters Dawnflower and Smallstorm will fit in quite nicely. Cx]

Fishtail nodded and stared into the water. She saw a large black blob dart by and she jumped, forcing both her paws into the water. She went a little to late and ended up falling face first into the water.

Cottontail smiled at her apprentice. "Thank you" she mewed. "Can you out it on the shelves next to the lavender?"

Reedtail paced about camp.

She grinned. "Have you ever met a fox?" She asked. "They are big, scary and dangerous" she leaned over the kit, showing her teeth and her unsheathed claws

Dawnflower crept out of the warriors' den as silently she could, she purred at the bright sunlight that warmed her ginger pelt and sat in the warm patch of sunlight letting the sun's rays warm her. The she-cat let out a loud yawn and looked back to the warriors' den. Dawnflower chuckled softy as she watched her brother Smallstorm grumble in his sleep. Judging by how much he kept moving and twitching, she knew he'd wake up shortly and Dawnflower mentally prepared herself for his sharp tongue in case he woke up in a bad mood. She looked around the camp, noticing Mudstar sitting outside of her den and casting glances at the shared elder's and nursery. 'She must be thinking of the kits.' Dawnflower thought, all three of the toms looked ready to be apprenticed and Dawnflower couldn't wait to see their apprentice ceremonies. She purred in content and looked around camp once more and noticed Reedtail pacing. She tipped her head to the side and stood up, padding towards the tom and ready to ask what he was doing; other then pacing that is.

Unlike his sister, Smallstorm wasn't as happy to wake up more a nice rest. Especially when he was having good dreams! He grumbled and spat out a piece of moss that somehow got in his mouth while he was asleep. Smallstorm shook off any other pieces of moss that might've stuck to his ginger pelt and he slowly got up from his nest and stalked out of the den, his steps rigid and it was quite obvious that he was in a grumpy mood. He growled and looked around camp, snorting as he saw his sister walking over to Reedtail. He flicked his tail and looked around for Shadefur. 'Where's that deputy when you need her?' Smallstorm thought grumpily. She should be setting up patrols and such! At least he thought so, isn't that what all deputies should do? He shrugged and yawned, unsure of what to do now that he was awake.

ShadeFur found a Nice juicy vole and picked it up and quickly ate it quite Satisfied with its taste

"Hello, Reedtail." Dawnflower mewed, bowing her head slightly towards her Clanmate. "I thought it was alright come over here, it seemed like you needed someone to chat to." She smiled at Reedtail and hoped that she didn't sound too odd. Some cats might take that the wrong way, she thought.

Weaselnose's eyes widened as he witnessed Fishtail fall into the water. "Fishtail!" He yowled, "Are you alright?!" he wasn't sure whether to jump after her or not, he pressed himself against the ground, his claws unsheathed and his mouth wide open in astonishment.

Mousetail begins licking Nightkit, smoothing down his ruffled fur. "You'll become one one day, and a great warrior," She said, trying to convince him," you just have to be patient."

Smallstorm noticed that Shadefur was looking around camp for something, he shrugged and figured that she was patrolling the area for anything that seemed out of place again. He was actually surprised by the measures Shadefur took to protect her Clan. 'I think Mudstar chose well for her successor.' Smallstorm thought. At least he hoped it was wise of Mudstar to choose Shadefur as her deputy, but so far the light gray she-cat seemed to be doing the job right. He yawned and brought his right paw up to his muzzle and gave his paw a few licks and he observed the camp.

Mudstar was laying down on the branch of the oak she usually made announcements from, she sometimes came up here too think. And right now she was busy thinking of the kits Coldkit, Ferretkit, and Nightkit. All three kits had reached their sixth moon, and were just about ready to be apprenticed. She already had a mentor in mind for Ferretkit it was only his brother Coldkit, and Nightkit she still had to think of mentors for. There was some good choices for Coldkit, but Nightkit seemed to be too close to his mother he might not like the idea of another cat mentoring him. It was clear to Mudstar that Mousetail and Nightkit were close as a mother and kit could be and Mudstar considered the idea of letting his own mother mentor him. However, in the back of her mind there was always that thought that parents shouldn't mentor their own kits for they might go soft on them. Mudstar yawned and jumped off of her branch, preparing to go talk with her deputy about the matter. She looked over at the apprentices' den and also remembered that soon enough Foxpaw would go on her final assessment that would bring her even closer to becoming a full warrior. Mudstar chuckled. "RootClan sure doing fine with it's apprentices and kits! I couldn't be prouder of everyone." She mewed to no one in particular.

ShadeFur was glad to see that everything was in place RootClan was becoming bigger and that meant there was sure to be more problems like not enough space in the dens
