Kinkheart rose from his nest, parting his jaws in a yawn. "Its not even dawn yet..." he complained. Then, he snapped to full attention. "whats wrong, Fleck?"
"Just come on!"
They rushed out of the den, plunging into the clearing. Fear-scent drifted from the leader's den.

He peeked into the leader's den. "Scarstar?"
Two cats were in there, his leader, and Shadowclaw.
Shadowclaw... I never liked him... he thought, his neck fur rising slightly.

Featherfoot stood up, turned the other way from Minttail and limped fast towards Scarstar's den. She saw Kinkheart and Shadowclan was there to, she gave out a snarl when she saw Shadowclaw.

Scarstar was surprised. "Righ now-. Kinkheat? Fleckpaw? What- Featherfoot? Whats going on?" Scarstar said, worry prickled his stomach.
"But Shadowclaw, what were you doing in my den right now. No its not basically morning yet. Tell me when you see the sun."

Smokpaw looked at him, "Then whats going on outside?" She rested her head on his shoulder. "We should just check, maybe there are kitty pets again."

Kindleflight crept among the ferns, searching the grasses for a morsel to return to the clan. Suddenly she spotted a squirrel sitting a few fox-lengths away as if just asking to be caught. This is just too easy. She crept within leaping range and swiftly caught and killed it. Happily she walked back to camp in the early morning.
