Pharaoh turned his head sharply, looking wideyed at the queen and at the sandwing. "W-w-what?!?" Pharaoh sputtered. "Is that true?!?" Sidewinder didn't reply, instead growling down at Foreseer. "Bite your tongue-" "IS. THAT. TRUE," Pharaoh demanded, wiping blood off of his face with his talons. The scales around his eye cavity were starting to swell, and it wouldn't be long before they closed over it and made it bulge out. But he would bear the scars forever... Just like... Just like the sandwing... Sidewinder slowly turned her head to look at Pharaoh, staying silent, wanting to let him figure it out. She had suspected that from the sandwing. After all, when her tribe had chased her out and threatened to kill her unborn dragonet, she had buried it near the stronghold, knowing it could survive with the coming of the prophecy. But Sidewinder hadn't expected to ever reunite with Pharaoh, especially not after she had been captured by Foreseer. She turned back to the nightwing, pressing her talons into the space just below her head. She pressed harder and harder, bringing her chin upwards, as her gaze grew cold. "Don't make me kill you, Foreseer," Sidewinder growled.
Wrethen hesitated, then, without warning, raised a single talon and raked it across Bayou's neck scales. Small beads of blood blossomed along his warm brown scales, and Wrethen ran his talon across them, picking them up. He held them up to his snout, licking the dark blood off of his talons with his forked tongue, then he closed his eyes and relaxed, tasting the warm blood in his mouth. He breathed in and breathed out for around ten seconds, then he snapped his eyes open and his jaw unhinged, like a snake's, as he started hissing. He narrowed his eyes, which were burning brighter than ever, then inhaled. (You have no idea how awkward this is to write, I mean honestly XD) Sucking the soul out of someone was just as it sounded; taste their blood, and inhale. Most souls were stubborn, and those were the ones that were more painful. Those were the ones that didn't want to leave. Others departed immediately, and the victim died a painless death. But it did not seem like this would be one of those times.
Alright, gotta go, cya tomorrow!
