She chuckled at his first comment but hissed lightly at the one with her and the males. She had a small smile though."Aww, are you jealous?" Tigerpaw teased.

"Deal," the tom agreed, and a sly smile spread across his face, "Race you there!" With that the warrior took off, looking behind him playfully at Adderfang and waiting for him to follow.

Echo bared his teeth at the she-cat, cuffing her ear with a sheathed paw. "Oh, get over yourself." He rolled his eyes, but his tone was in a joking manor. "Who's on your mind, then? I need some new clan gossip." His whiskers twitched in amusement, and he nudged Tigerpaw playfully. Maybe being a medicine cat won't be so bad. I'll get to know all the juicy gossip. Echo thought to himself, letting out a small mrrow of laughter.

Everytime he touched her, her fur bristled on instinct but then it'd lie flat again. She shrugged a little sadly at his question. "Nobody anyone would know. But there is new kits. Lionkit and Gentlekit." she sad trying not to sound sad or upset.

Echo frowned at her sudden change of tone, and he debated whether he should comfort her or not. He decided it would be a bad idea, since she didn't seem much for being comforted. "So, you got a history? I mean, if you wanna tell me. I don't really care, but, you know. I have to know these things as a medicine cat.. I think." Echo trailed off, realizing that he still didn't know much about the clan-life. Wildstar had told him basic medicine cat rules, but he didn't know if there was anything else he had to know. I'll talk to Scartail about it when she gets back, Eco decided to himself.

Tigerpaw raised an eyebrow. She actually wasn't sure if she had to tell him. "Nothing too out of the ordinary if you don't count my clan being murdered and being chased away by five other clans. she said emotionlessly.

Echo huffed, curling his tail around his paws as he laid his head back on a stump nonchalantly. "Yeah, my history is quite ordinary as well. Just watch my brother be abandoned by my mother, live in a horrible rogue pack that treated me and my mother like dirt, be exiled, be abandoned by my mother and be told I'm worthless and should have never been born. You know, the usual." Echo meowed in the same tone Tigerpaw had. Emotionless. Echo hadn't looked up from where he was grooming his paws, and he only turned to smirk at the she-cat next to him. He wondered if she was surprised by his history.

She would have laughed if she hadn't heard that one very sensitive word. Rouge. "What did you say?" she asked quietly, her eyes narrowed.

Echo's eyes widened as he saw Tigerpaw staring at him with her ears perked and a gaze that said "Run, kittypet." Echo immediately started panicking, his ears twitching nervously as he thought about what he had said wrong. Oh no, did I already ruin my only friendship!? "W-What?" Echo meowed, feeling anxious, but forcing himself to puff out his chest in front of her. He couldn't let himself look weak.

She let out a quiet growl. Her ears layed flat against her head. "Rouge. Pack?" she snarled slowly. Tigerpaw slowly rose to her paws as her tail lashed dangerously.
