"Of course I am!" Daffodiltail jumped to her paws. "Let's go!" She ran off in the direction of the ocean.

"Not always," Duckfeather replied calmly. "I'm not boring, and I wouldn't quit." But she could see that the she-kit preferred playing with Spiderheart's tail than with her mother, and let her. She sat down and watched her daughter in silence.

Spiderheart didn't even acknowledge Forestkit. He just lay still on the ground.

"Tidestar!" Beechpaw ran after her. "But how do you know that? Don't be like Bluestar from Ancient ThunderClan, who was too blind to realize there was a cold-blooded murderer in her Clan! You're better than that!"

Sageclaw followed her

Daffodiltail glanced back at them, but instead of slowing down to walk beside Lionfang as she normally would, she stayed at the head of the group.

Graystream dragged himself out of the water and shook himself off. His long, thick fur felt twice as heavy when it was wet. "Agh..."

Oceansong walked towards a stream. She then stopped and said,"Can you teach me to swim?"

Shallowcreek swam out after him, her thicker fur making it harder for her to get onto shore. After several long minutes, she was beside her mate, panting.

Cloverfeather didn't say much to the tom, she just smiled slightly at him, but kept her eyes glued on the ground in front of them.
