Parry:

I licked my muzzle clean after I had finished my share of the fish. I looked out of the barn door into the bright sun. I looked back to Larksong “Race you across the field!” I sprinted out the door with my plumed tail waving behind me. I looked back to see her chasing after me. I ran faster towards the wheat field as she came closer. When I reached the wheat I bounded through it, pushing through the heavy stalks. I then sat on the other side of the field panting, too tired for now to go back to the barn

I was relieved that we could leave. I walked under Sageleap the whole time, almost tripping her a few times
