LarkpawShe-Cat ~ 15 moons ~ Mentor: Swanfoot ~ Apprentice ~ Tags: ThornpawLarkpaw jumped in alarm as Thornpaw approached her from behind, and she immediately whipped around. A startled look flashed in her sparkling, pale yellow eyes for a moment. It faded away, and she smiled as she calmed down.
"Hi," she mewed in greeting to Thornpaw.
"Our assessments are over. Our walk will be soon." Larkpaw purred at the thought of their walk. It was exciting, and she couldn't wait to spend time with her best friend.
And secret crush. She did feel a little guilty that Thrushpaw wouldn't be joining them,
but a bit relieved because she feels uncomfortable when her two crushes are with her the same time, so she'd probably talk with Thrushpaw tomorrow after she gets a nice, long sleep. Larkpaw shuffled her paws, and looked over at Thornpaw.
"We should talk to Faithstar about our warrior names when we come back from our walk. We can tell her that you want to be called Thornfang, and that Antpaw wants to be Antclaw."RowanlogTom ~ 39 moons ~ Tags: OpenRowanlog breathed out a long sigh as Applekit came to him. She was right. He had to let it out. He couldnt keep all these emotions folded up inside him, making him go insane as he tried to keep them all in. They had to come out. He didn't want to have a meltdown in the camp AGAIN, though. So he'd just talk to his daughter about everything. Applekit needed to understand what he's been through. Rowanlog raised his face from his paws, and looked over at his daughter. His eyes were still somber, and his cheeks were wet with tears.
"When that sickness hit... I knew something bad would happen. The thing everyone noticed was you, and your sister and brothers becoming sick. And things were already a bit off with you guys. Lionkit had only one good eye, Ivykit was blind, and Joykit was deaf. Cats became worried when you all fell into the sickness. I was, as well. So was your mother. But... she was determined to keep you healthy. I could tell she was getting sick... but she was forcing herself to appear as healthy as possible for you guys, and everyone around her. I didn't want to talk to her about it. She was so stressed, so frantic, so unhappy that this was happening. She seemed to just about lose it when Joykit and Thunderkit died. I told her everything was alright, that you and Lionkit and Ivykit were recovering, and that the dead kits were happy and safe in StarClan. But, but-" his voice cracked as he let the words out, and his eyes began to water.
"But she was already weakened. Very weakened... when she apologized for her failing as a mother to you guys, and ran off... I knew what was happening. I couldn't stop it. I tried my hardest to by reassuring her, but the emotional, mental, and physical pain she went through was too bad for her. She was suffering from sickness, the death of her kits, and the belief that she was failing at life and burdening us. I..." Rowanlog rose to his feet, tears beginning to stream freely down his face.
"I-I need to go..." he sobbed, sprinting into the Warrior's den. Rowanlog crashed down in Mossheart's old nest, her scent still hanging in it. He curled up into a tight ball, and began to weep. The scent of his former mate surrounding him was reassuring, and he began to purr as he cried.
PepperShe-Cat ~ 41 moons ~ Kittypet ~ Tags: Emeraldsky, Redpaw, (Thrushpaw)"Alright," mewed Pepper, timidly glancing at Redpaw. He seemed perturbed, and she hoped it wasn't because he had to bring her with him to collect the things.
Cobweb, borage, and raspberries leaves, she thought to herself as she padded out of the Medicine Den. She had no clue what borage was, but she definitely knew the other two. She padded out of the cave, hoping the young tom was following her.
"Do you know the best places to find the things Emeraldsky wanted?" she asked, ears flicking. She heard a noise slightly nearby. She scented the mellow and slightly tangy smell of a HopeClan cat. It was a she-cat, it seemed to be a bit younger from what she could scent. (It's Thrushpaw)
"Who is that?" she said, partially to herself. She expected no answer from Redpaw, because whoever this cat was, they were close and would probably face Pepper and Redpaw soon.
FaithstarShe-Cat ~ 44 moons ~ Leader ~ 8 lives ~ Tags: Nightwing"I see," she uttered, looking at Rowanlog as he raced off to the Warrior's Den in tears.
"Since Rowanlog is obviously in no state to make decisions, as you said, I suppose you have full rights to change his name. You are the kit's uncle and my deputy, and since the mother is dead and Rowanlog is temporarily an emotional-wreck, there really isn't a reason why you can't do this." Faithstar looked at Nightwing, the sandy-coloured tabby she-cat seating herself.
"But Deathkit, you say? Did you mean Deathpaw?"

-LionlightLionlight purred as Swanfoot leaped atop of him. He gave her lick on her nose as she leaned down to lick him.
"A great warrior. You'll be an amazing warrior, that's all I ever hoped you would say," he whispered, smiling brightly.
She'll go back to reality stronger than ever. She'll prove to everyone that she's capable of achieving great things, just like I always knew she could do, he thought as she rose to his paws. He stayed silent as Mossheart and Swanfoot spoke to each other about Mossheart's death. He didn't wish to join in, because he might either hurt Swanfoot by siding with Mossheart or irritate Mossheart by siding with Swanfoot. Either wouldn't end out good, especially if he ended up siding with Mossheart. So Lionlight stayed silent. Again, Mossheart suggesting to Swanfoot that she could take an interest in Nightwing irked him a bit. However, Swanfoot seemed to swiftly move on and not talk about that subject, so he decided to let it go.
It's Swanfoot's choice who she wants to love and all, but Mossheart needs to realize that mine and Swanfoot's love is helping both of us, he thought, just standing by, pondering, as the two she-cats had a conversation.
