Echostep wonderd into the camp and froze when she saw a familiar pelt "Pineclaw? Is that you?" she stepped closer seeing her friend and gasped "Pineclaw!" she tackled the Tom "how did you live?!" she squealed happy to see a familiar face.

Pebblerun shot Pineclaw a warning glance. Yes, Eaglestar could make mistakes like all cats, but he didn't have to go so hard on her. She turned her attention back onto Eaglestar. " Would you two like to join Frostwing, Lightpaw, Viperpaw, and myself on our little patrol?" She asked.

Shadowpaw's grin widens, glad that they could start. They could start! And he could finally meet all of the other apprentices! He had longed for new friends for a long while now, or so it seemed. But his smile soon turns into a face of uncertainty. "Well, actually, I'm not very far...at all. My past mentor wasn't able to teach me much more than how to catch scents. the fire came days after I became an apprentice." he says sadly, recalling all the losses.

Duskpaw nodded his head softly at her answer, and agreed in his mind he was happy she got a mentor that understood her well enough to connect to her so quickly. He was not expecting much of a bond that quick, but he was happy for her anyways. His tail remained on her paw as he spoke to her mind yet again as she questioned he was not happy getting Raccoonstrike. I am alright, I am just not sure if he will accept me, he told to her with his blue eyes glancing away to the many cats that where around the large tree they called camp for now. I just am worried, because my last mentor was Grinner and as you can see he knew all of my moves. So I am worried I won't be a good warrior to him, he spoke with his eyes glancing away from the cats and back to Wolfpaw's. Yet, I am glad for you Wolfpaw. Your healed, and earned a good mentor so I am happy, he said with a tiny smile that was real to him. The before smile was fake, but he couldn't lie to say he was not happy for Wolfpaw.

Wolfpaw nodded.
"Rapid-" She cut herself off, correcting her mistake of her brother's name.
"My brother was fine when he got his mentor. You probably remember; quick as a fox, but couldn't stay on his feet for anything."
Wolfpaw tried her usual 'my sibling was something, and you shouldn't feel bad' comfortment, but she felt this wasn't really the time or need.
"Yeah, it seemed like he knew all of our moves, somehow." Wolfpaw blushed after he lost the eyecontact and regained it, as she looked to the side. The Apprentice wasn't the best with her crushes.
"Glad? I suppose so, though knowing myself, the only emotions I know are sad and regular." She said, with a small 'mental' sigh. "I get along with almost everyone pretty well if I've met them, and I've heard the stories of trustful mentors." The long-haired she-cat moved her left paw, showing the unattended to cuts and bruises.
"Not entirely, but there. And I hope you like Raccoonstrike, as well. I think you'll be such a lovely warrior, that Raccoonstrike wouldn't even be able to keep up with your learning." Wolfpaw wasn't flattering, but merely thinking what was on her mind to the Tom, trying to keep out any thoughts of liking other than being a friend. She smiled, pulling her ears halfway to her head and slightly slitting her eyes in her way of saying 'You better believe it!'

Pineclaw looked over at Boulderstride with a shrug. "Eaglestar may be the leader, but she's not always right." he said after a moment, looking away again.

"Ah, hello, Shadowpaw." replied Eaglestar, guiltily realizing she'd forgotten about him, waiting for training. "I appreciate the thought, but it's not even sunhigh. I'm not an elder quite yet; I don't need to sleep the day away." she said with a smile. "Let's get started with your training, hmm? Why don't you tell me how far along you are?"

Boulderstride smiled and mewed, "That is true now what could I do, I want to train or hunt?"

Leopardpaw

Leopardpaw emerged from the apprentice den, she had just taken a short nap. She looked around at her clanmates, joyful to have their company. Out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of grey tabby fur. It was her mentor. Leopardpaw bounded up to Miststep. She beamed up at her silvery mentor, her jade eyes shining and her ears perked happily. "Hi Miststep!" she chimed.

"Hello, Leopardpaw." replied Miststep. She flicked her ear, secretly worrying about having a new apprentice so soon. She'd only just rejoined the clan, and although she had not told Eaglestar--the leader, her friend, had enough to worry about--she hadn't completely recovered from her injuries in the fire. Perhaps she never would. Still, looking down at her eager apprentice, the warrior couldn't help but smile. She would have to try not to disappoint her. "I imagine you've already had some training done. Tell me, is there anything you struggled with? Fighting, hunting, tracking...?"

"I think I'm a pretty good hunter..but I have trouble with fighting." She sighed, "I just feel bad fighting against my clan mates. I know it's just training but I can't seem to get into the fight.." Leopardpaw looked down at her tail. She realized how much her anger and dying urge to please drove her to fight. While she was training she simply had no motivation. The only time she ever pinned her opponent was if they had accidentally caused her pain.

"I'll see you later." she said and walked away to find Redfern.

Spiritblaze looked at the shecat sadness in his eyes, he felt bad for the shecat untill she lifted his spirits(lol) with her saying she finally had a mentor, he nudged her softly "well im glad i have a fun and bouncy apprentice like you" he chuckled before looking ahead thinking of his dead mate and how she laughed along with her smile.

Songbrook laughed alittle,"Normaly, I'm really not bouncy." She stop for a moment and said to the tom,"Is this a good spot to start hunting?" She asked.

Sparrowkit pawed at his brother, but soon stopped when he was picked up by hollyclaw to be cleaned.
Specklekit rolled around on the soft grass

Redfern sat in the clearing and sunned himself

Gingerpaw flicked her tail lightly and followed her mentor

Berchheart looked around for leopardpaw some what the first friend he made
