Her breathing was large, for she was having a panic attack. "Oh my Starckan, oh my oh my oh my." She panted, her eyes wide as she hunched over his body. "Your legs! Your body!" She wailed. "what would Willowleaf do..." She looked around, everything swimming around her. "Cobwebs!" She exclaimed, and bolted over to a bush and snagged a few webs. She plastered them on his wound. "Flintfoot! You can't go! I... I'll save you!"

Kestrelflame quickly raced to Flintfoot's side. She gasped. But just then, her supposed to be dead father stalked out of the woods.

Flintfoot's closed eyes seemed to wince as the sticky substance touched his dirty wounds. He scented an unfamiliar scent. A strange scent, on my territory... I don't think so! Flintfoot thought, but he had no energy to move, nor open his eyes fully.

"Kestrelflame! He's dying!" She wailed, sniffing his legs. She tried to nose them back into position. "They're broken." She whispered. She grabbed a near by leaf, and wrapped his legs up while in the correct position. "Better." She said, yet not so confidently.

"Flintfoot?" She whispered, prodding his shoulder gently. "Are you ok?"

Flintfoot whimpered with pain. Turn around you fools! He... He's there! Flintfoot yowled in his mind, begging himself to manage the words out of his jaws.

She placed a paw on his shoulder. "Flintfoot? What's wrong? Speak!" She pleaded, too much in shock to realize there was a strange cat near them.

Flintfoot didn't even open his eyes. He feebly pointed with his tounge towards the lurking cat.

"W-what?" She recoiled, blinking in wonder. She turned to where he pointed, and snarled in surprise at the strange cat. She leapt to her paws, and got into a protective stance in front of Flintfoot. "You won't touch a hair on him!" She hissed, her claws digging into the ground.
