Pebblerun took a step forward, but paused. She looked behind her at Lightpaw, Viperpaw, and Frostfeather. " You three go ahead. I'll catch up once this little argument is done. Lightpaw, I expect you to listen to Frostfeather and do as she asks." She meowed sternly.then, she trotted over to Eaglestar and the little group. She looked over at Crookedtail and nodded in approval. Then, she motioned for him to go back over to Silverkit and Emberflight.

Sivlerkit beamed with pride, her teeth hurting from stretching her mouth. She never smiled unless she was tricking someone. It was like her code. "You really think so? Thanks!" she mewed, tipping her head to one side.

He dipped his at Pebblerun, his deputy, and trudged back to the kits and Emberflight. He sighed, watching the group from afar. "Want to know how my tail ended up like this?" He asked, glancing at Silverkit softly, his amber eyes glittering in the harsh sunlight. Something seemed odd about her smile, like it was forced. "Yes, and I know there is something else on your mind, Silverkit. Speak up." He voiced, flicking her with his tail.

Wolfpaw made a face before turning silent again. It was very unnormal Wolfpaw had such sudden bursts where she talked, as when she was silent was when she was her normal state. The Apprentice laid down, looking at everyone, in a studying pose.

"Yes, Pebblerun." replied Lightpaw with a respectful nod. She watched her mentor walk away towards the argument, wishing she could join her. Oh, well. She turned back to Frostfeather, awaiting instruction.

Eaglestar watched as cats began to gather. Slowly, she stepped back, shaking her head slightly, realizing with dismay the scene she'd caused. What had gotten into her? She hadn't always been so...confrontational. She took a deep breath, sitting down and wrapping her tail neatly around her paws. She hadn't realized she'd unsheathed her claws when Boulderstride had, and let them slide back in. She looked around at Pineclaw and Boulderstride across from her, and then at Pebblerun and Tunaspirit beside her.
"Perhaps I overreacted." she said, her voice kept carefully calm. "Boulderstride," she looked the other cat in the eye. "You may join SunClan. But," she was quick to add, "I expect you, if you'd like to stay here, to be respectful towards me and the other members of this clan. Regardless of where they may be from."

Boulderstride claws stayed unsheathed but her neck fur started to flatten, "I can try" She mewed stubbornly and looked at Pineclaw sadly.[/size]

Pebblerun let her fur lie flat as well. She laid her tail on Eaglestar's shoulder and gave a questioning glance. Of the times she had seen Eaglestar, she had never reacted like that.

Tunasprit purred with a smile "Thankyou aunt Eagle" she nuzzled the Shecat gently before watching the two cats.

Echostep wonderd the camp and froze when she saw a familiar pelt "Pineclaw? Is that you?" she stepped closer seeing her friend and gasped "Pineclaw!" she tackled the Tom "how did you live?!" she squealed happy to see a familiar face.

Eaglestar looked over at Pebblerun, not entirely sure how to answer the deputy's questioning look. At Tunespirit's comment, she looked down to smile at the young cat, relieved at the distraction. She leaned down to lick her head affectionately, though her gaze was unfocused and distracted.
I can't let the stress get to me like that, she thought, angry at herself. I can't just blow up over an unfortunate choice of words. I'm a leader, not an impulsive young warrior.

{@Abyss--the clans have been travelling together for a few months now, and Pineclaw's been there the whole time. She probably wouldn't be that surprised to see him now.}

Tunaspirit purred happily and cuddled into her fur happy to be with with Eaglestar, she left the shecats side "bye auntie Eagle" she mewed with a smile before padding out of the den her red eyes glowing.
