"Two of you already have warrior names, but you shall be apprentices so that you can reach your full potential." He looked at Ollie. "Ollie, your new name shall be Olliepaw." He looked at Owlkit, beaming. "Owlkit, step forward."

"Woaaahhhh, Olliepaw is such a cool name!" he said, his eyes gleaming in awe.

Owlkit stepped forward, his eyes gleaming.

Larkpaw:

I woke to see a gray and white cat looking at me. I jumped back and unsheathed my claws.



Parry:

I looked into the gorgeous she-cat’s frightened brown eyes. I walked forward and pushed a mouse towards her. Her eyes desperately looked to the mouse and I could see the hunger in her eyes. I stepped back and she warily approached the mice. She laid down and ate them, still keeping her eyes on me. Once she was done, I stepped forward “I’m Parry” She looked at me and hesitated but eventually said “I’m Larkpaw” Oh, a clan cat. Great “Well, you’re welcome to stay here as long as you need Larkpaw” I heard her mumble “How does forever sound” I replied back “You can stay here forever if you want” She looked at me confused as if she didn’t think I was going to answer that question. She started telling me her story and where she was from and why she was here. “Well Larkpaw, if you made it this far, then you’re a warrior to me”



Larkpaw:

“I wish I had got my warrior name before I left, now I’m stuck as Larkpaw forever” The strange cat then did something unexpected. He spoke “Do you, Larkpaw promise to help all cats and try to see truth in what they say, no matter what others think?” strange words “Yes” I said uneasily “Then to me and others, you shall be known as Larksong, a true warrior in my eyes” I looked at the cat, surprised “really?” He nodded and I bounced around with joy like a kit. Without thinking I rubbed myself against the cat and purred. I soon realized and pulled away quickly “sorry” I said embarrassed

He turned to his son, beaming. "Owlkit, from this day until you earn your warrior name, you will be known by the name of Owlpaw. Thorngaze, do you believe that you can take the responsibility of teaching Owlpaw?" He looked towards the other warriors. "Thrushwink, could you do the same for Olliepaw? Copperstrike, as for you, Quickstream? And finally, Rowanscar, could you mentor Creekwish?" He turned to face Silentpaw. "I shall do whatever I can to assist you in becoming a full medicine cat, while also teaching you enough to defend yourself and others."

He nodded, excited. Rowanscar nodded as well.

Olliepaw
Olliepaw was practically buzzing in excitement.

Copperstrike
Copperstrike nodded to quickstream. Copperstrike walked to the side of camp and flicked his tail, signaling for Rowanscar to come.

She followed him and sat next to him out of earshot. "So? What's wrong?"

Bramblewind:

I went back to the medicine den to watch my kits. I nuzzled each one and then started sorting herbs that were in a pile in the corner of the den



Parry:

A warm pleasure ran down my spine as Larksong nuzzled against me. I saw the sun setting on the horizon “follow me” I told her. I grabbed a mouthful of hay and climbed into the rafters of the barn, and she followed surprisingly fast. I jumped from beam to beam until I reached a part where two larger beams crossed and formed a large platform where my nest was. I layed the hay down into a nest for her and curled up in my own with my tail over my eyes “Goodnight Larksong”
