Shadow That Dances at Night
Shadow looked up in faint surpise at the sudden arrival of Fading. It took him a moment or two to remember who she was, and finally realized that she had joined during the first storm of the season. He had been so preoccupied with Little's injuries at the time that he had not given her much thought. "I sent that one group out. I believe someone named Feather, or perhaps . . . I am not sure entirely. I told someone to handle it, and it should be getting done." When he could not remember the name, his words turned angry with slight frustration. "I was heading out for a patrol myself. I might head along the western edge of the peninsula." Shadow added in to justify his leaving, remaining casual all-the-while.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower glanced between Minnow and Crow as they bickered. Minnow, from her perspective, had a rough day, and she knew it was partly because of her. Her nerves were on end with the appointment of Tide as a full sailor. She despised Shadow with all her might, and a fury burned inside her at the disrespect he had shown to her best friend. She had wrongfully taken it out on Minnow, and now everyone was just spiraling the situation out of control.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower listened intently as the story was being told. Her eyes widened in terror at the thought of being pushed off a cliff. The stinging of the salt water below, hiding sharp rocks and colorful coral. The wind gusting through one's fur as they tumbled towards their death. It was a manifestation of a nightmare in a literal sense. "I am so sorry, Ice!" she quietly uttered to begin with, reaching forward in an attempt to place her tail tip on the round of her shoulder. "That must have been so hard for you." Flower kept her words strong for the time being, but death was an iffy subject for her. Horrific deaths reminded her of her mother, who was well-beloved by most of the tribe from the stories she heard. The thought was pushed out as soon as it came to protect her own hardened emotions. "You have every right to be still upset and grieving." It was easier said than done because Flower broke down whenever she thought about her parents. She blamed herself despite the circumstances, and did not know how to remember the good days without remembering the bad. "There is no better friend than a sister." Flower was not experienced in the subject of siblings. She had always wanted a sister to gossip with and share stories, but alas, it was not to be.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
Stream was about to offer herself up as the coy when Feather took the stand before her. It was only a mere few seconds until Feather bolted away, and her mouth was left gaping open. "W-wait . . ." she stated with a defeated sigh, kneading the ground with her paws. Stream glanced at Water and Whisper, knowing they probably wanted an explanation for her reaction. "If anyone should take the blame, it should be me. If I was to be exiled, I would at least be in the company of my half-brother. I have no idea how Feather would react . . ." again, her voice trailed off, and she was left staring at the empty spot where Feather was moments before.
She shook her head as if to clear it, putting on a cheerful expression. "Let's just hope it won't resort to that in the first place. Shadow may not find out to begin with. He is busy with kits in the first place." It was amusing how he spent more time tending for his children rather than the tribe as a whole. Stream loved kits; she wanted some of her own someday. The only issue is that she knew how to prioritize her time between family and her sailor duties. It was a balance, and Shadow was definitely tipping it.
