"GET THE HELL AWAY!" Ink spun around and kicked Yara, not knowing it was him, he thought it was a wolf from the Council. He stumbled backwards and started growling loudly, not taking the time to see that it was actually his friend.

Yara looked at his paws, frowning. A tear slid down his cheek, his friend didn't recognise him... He slowly turned away, growling to himself about trust and loyalty, friendship and other such things. He increased his pace, not wanting others to see him emotional...

Finally catching his breath, Ink recognized Yara instantly. "Yara? Hey..." He ran out of the council's cave, they would have to wait. He caught up with Yara and whined, looking up at him.

Yara looked down at Ink, frowning. "So now you recognise me..." He looked away from Ink, his feelings getting the better of him. He turned around and hugged the pup, he was so happy to see him. "I'm sorry..." He sighed and looked at his paws. "Its my fault you're over here..."

The wolf frowned. "If we let wolves go back, willy-nilly, it would disrupt the balance of nature."

Yara perked up his ears, turning around and padding towards the council. "Council, I understand that you can't let just anyone go back. And that you need some of us here, but InkJr, Teru, Chiyo and Rako. They are merely pups. Will you want the blood of innocent pups on your paws? It's not nice, believe me." He paused briefly, before continueing. "They have lives back down there... Let them go, keep us up here. Some of us, like myself, we don't deserve to go back... But don't steal the lives they could have, from them." He stared up at them, raising himself to his full height. "I only ask you, to send them back. Do what you want with me..."

"No! I'll take Yara's place. Send him back," Shiva insissted. She wanted Chako to be happy again. Yara would be the only way.

Yara smirked at Shiva, shaking his head. "Chako doesn't need me... She can move on. But I want her to have Teru back. I can't bare to see her like she was when he died." He looked at his paws, frowning. "And the two, Chiyo and Rako... They were so brave, standing up against a much larger foe... Standing their ground until they couldn't hold on any longer... Chiyo was dead, Rako wasn't yet, but close."

"And what will happen to Chako? She's happiest when you visit her and Fuji!" Shiva snapped.
