Hawksky began walking slowly toward camp. He nodded slowly at Rogue.

Nightsplash winced at the pain in his leg.

"Flickerheart, I'd like you to show Forestpaw around camp," said Sandstar.

Amberheat followed Hawksky.

"All right." Replied graciously Flickerheart she looked at Mosspaw, who came up to her. Forestpaw followed.
"Ok. Here is the Elder's den..." Flickerheart started. A half hour later, they were done.

Sandstar nodded, smiling, and went to her den.

Amberheart laid Goldenflower's body down in the middle of camp. She then ran to Sandstar's den. "Sandstar? I have terrible news."

Sandstar got up right away. "What is it, Amberheart?" she asked urgently. She could tell Amberheart was upset.

Hawksky began grooming Goldflower.

Nightsplash didn't know Goldflower that well, so he didn't join in, but grief filled his eyes as he watched the young warrior was upset that Goldflower died in the battle with the fox he had discovered.

"There was a fox, in our territory. I lead a partol to fight the fox....Nightsplash was hurt badly...and Goldenflower....." Amberheart trailed off.

Flickerheart raced over to see the damage. Seeing Goldenflower, her eyes turned huge. "What happened?"She urgently demanded Nightsplash. Forestpaw had huge eyes also. She crept over and realizing that the cat was dead, she stepped back hurriedly. Mosspaw looked terrified.

Nightsplash stood up shakily. "A huge fox, in the meadow....We tried to fight it, but it grabbed Goldflowers neck, and..." he couldn't continue and looked down. When he looked up, he noticed a new pretty she cat. He smiled at her, despite what had just occured.

Sandstar nodded slowly, sadly. "I'm sorry," she murmured. "The warriors will bury her at dawn, as there are no elders..."
