The dark gray Tom nodded, standing up as well. "I'll lead," he meowed as he headed towards the entrance of the hunting territory of Scarletclan. Once he had gone close to the entrance, he turned around and sat, awaiting for the She-cats to catch up.

Shadowscar slowly shook her head, making her way slowly towards the Tom before finally sitting by him tail wrapped around her small front paws. "It was Bristlescar, but I doubt he even spotted us." Her ears flicked to the sound of paw steps above rushing away. "I don't even think he was looking for us; maybe just looking for fresh kill."

Both she-cats nodded and padded after him. They padded side by side until they reached Wolfhowl, "Lead on." Sunrose mewed. Hollyfrost nodded and glanced down at her paws.

Ashice perked his ears and listened to the sound of paw steps fleeing the scene. He let out a sigh of relief and looked up at Shadowscar, "Let's just hope so." he meowed. He curled his tail around his injured body and looked down at his paws for a moment before looking back up at the Medicine Cat, "Hey Shadowscar, can I ask you something?"

Wolfhowl nodded, looking curiously at Hollyfrost for a moment before getting up and swiftly making his way through the woods. He stopped at the sight of a brown blur at his side, only to see Bristlescar padding towards them. "Bristle!" he called out, tail lashing as he stopped to rest.

Shadowscar had gone from her protective mood quickly back to her love struck mood for the Tom, drooping her ears slightly in confusion; and hope. "Go on, Ashice," she replied, awaiting for the Tom's question.

Hollyfrost looked up and her spirits were almost lifted immediately when she saw her Apprentice padding towards them. She felt cool relief flooding over her as she settled down to wait for Bristlepaw to come over to them.

Ashice took a deep breath before meeting the Medicine Cat's gaze, "StarClan, if you've done something wrong, how bad can they punish you?" he asked. This wasn't an easy question to ask; especially to where it would be leading.

Shadowscar's ivy eyes dimmed, questioning what the Tom had just asked. Slightly tipping her head to the left, she replied the best she could. "Well, I wouldn't know, but what have I done to this day that is bad besides falling for a cat?" Her eyes had widened to hear her speak the hidden words, and she drooped her ears, feeling the skin of her face under her pelt heat up.

Ashice's piercing blue gaze didn't leave the she-cat even when she admitted a deep secret that she must've been keeping for a while. "This Tom you're falling for...tell me; is it me?" he asked, his tail nervously twitching from side to side and his heart beginning to beat even faster.

Shadowscar's heart nearly leaped out of her ebony chest by this moment, and she fell silent without words of her own to speak. Slowly, she nodded her head in approval, feeling her entire being warm up as she slowly flicked the tip of her tail up and down in nervousness and fear.

Ashice stared at Shadowscar for a moment before closing his eyes. In a way, he believed that this was just a dream, and when he opened his eyes, he would be awake. But when he did, all he saw was the nervous she-cat that had just confessed her deepest, darkest secret to him. Without even thinking, he stood up, brushed his pelt against hers, and purred loudly.

Shadowscar stared at the Tom in complete and utter shock for a few moments before contemplating the whole situation; Ashice loved her. No, he didn't just love her, but a true, actual, love. She purred in near sync with the Tom, immediately pressing herself against him without a second thought. The moment got the best of the ebony She-cat, and she had spoken her thoughts out loud. "Ashice, I love you. I don't care that Medicine Cats are not allowed to love; they don't understand, and they never will."

Ashice's purr grew as more and more of his concealed feelings poured out into the open, "I love you too, Shadowscar. I always have. It's been so hard to hide it, since it is not allowed, but now that I know that you don't care, well...neither do I." he purred. He let his cheek press against hers and he closed his eyes. Never in his life had he ever felt this happy; but now he had exceeded that emotion tenfold.
