She had a nervous look on her face but tried to hide it. "Uh okay?She dipped a paw where she couldn't feel the ground. "How do you... not drown?" She observed Seawing when he swam in the circles. So I guess I just do this... Silverstorm lifted her paws off of the ground and tried to swim, but the second she did she panicked and her paws started to flail around. Her paws touched the the sandy bottom of the pond and she got her grip back. Phew.. She thought, catching her breath.

He swam over to her and gave her an encouraging smile. "That wasn't that bad, actually!" He paddled to her side "Just don't freak out, okay? The calmer you are, the easier it is! Just take a deep breath and start moving your front and back legs slightly to keep you afloat! He demonstrated what he meant for her to do and began to tread water,
staying afloat and in the same place. He smiled at her and nodded.

"Uh okay then..." She tried doing it in the shallow end, where if you can put your paws down you can touch the ground. DON'T PANIC,DON'T PANIC, DON'T PANIC. She managed to stay afloat for a few heartbeats, then stood straight up. "That was um kind of fun actually.."

He grinned. "You did great!" He slowly swam to the edge before heaving himself out of the pond,
not even bothering to shake the water out of his pelt. "Brr! It really is cold." He laughed, trying not to shiver.
The water where he grew up was always warm, so he wasn't used to cold temperatures or climates. "You really did great. I'm glad you think it's fun." He smiled at her, water still dripping from his pelt. He shook his head, trying to get the water out of his ears.

So got onto a rock and shook her pelt. " Thanks, it really was fun." She smiled back. She laid down on her rock to sun herself. "Why dont you comme up here?" "This rock is dry and warm" I guess it is kind of fun. "Hey have you heard about your new apprentice? Mothpaw? She mewed shivering Have you decied what her first lesson is going to be?

He looked a bit surprised at the mention of an apprentice as he climbed up the rock to sit next to SilverStorm. "Well.. I'd like to see her skill level first, before jumping into anything extreme. I'm sure she has amazing potential,
though." He mewed softly. He had never had an apprentice before, so he wasn't quite sure what to teach. SeaWing was going to mentor his kits but....He grimaced and stared down at his paws. "It is nice and warm on here." He purred,
stretching out slightly. His pelt began to dry and it fluffed out slightly.

"Oh okay, that seems reasonable. " She purred as she relaxed in the sun. "Oh are you going to teach her how to swim too?" She said in a teasing tone. " Actually teaching Mothpaw how to swim could be useful in case we ever need to retreat from an enemy ..." Her voice slightly more serious than last time. She dozed off for a few minutes before snapping back into reality. "Wait did you used to fish too in your old clan? " She was getting a bit peckish after swimming, she never really got to try a fish yet. "Do fish taste good?"

He smiled. "If she wanted to learn of course I would teach her!" His tail twitched slightly as he remembered his old home. "Well my clan was in a forest, but we tried to go fishing every few moons, the lake where the fish were was far away, so it took a few days worth of travel" He shrugged "It honestly depends which cat you ask. Some like fish, some don't. I find it to be very delicious." He smiled to himself as he remembered the day he caught his first fish. He had been watching it for what seemed like hours- in reality it probably was a few moments- and it surprised him by jumping out of the water when he smacked it with his paws. He had jumped up too but being overly confident he jumped too high, and then he and the fish collided midair, both collapsing unto the river bank. He stifled a chuckle and focused his attention back to SilverStorm.

" Would you like to try fishing here? " She looked down at the water, she could she a faint silver object moving swiftly under the wet surface. "Are those the fish? " She asked probably sounding mouse-brained to him. She leaned over to look, but her shadow cast over the water and the fish swam away. oops.. " Well uh, there are always more fish in the sea right?" She chuckled awkwardly. She stared at the water again and a leaf fell of a tree and landed on the water leaving beautiful ripples on the surface of the pond. With the sound of the calm waterfall and the nice ripples she started to doze off again but forced herself to keep awake.

SeaWing laughed softly. "Sure! We can if you want to!" When the fish swam away he shrugged. "It's no problem, they'll come back! He noticed she looked a little tired and nudged her gently. "If you want to rest here for a little while that's fine." He smiled at her "You look a little sleepy." He yawned and stretched his front legs out "I am a little sleepy too, honestly"
