➣ Wolfheart frowned a bit as she thought about Bearpaw's question and dipped her cranium slightly in thanks for her apprentice helping her clean off her dusty grey pelt. "I'm not quite sure." The she-cat replied still pondering the thought. Sitting down she wrapped her striped tail around her white paws gazing down at the forest floor. "I'd say either Wrentalon or Rayfeather." Wolfheart added as she looked up at her apprentice. "I'd be surprised if Wrentalon became deputy but she's a natural leader despite her rank, a hunter as deputy would be interesting to witness." The grey tabby added as she waits for Bearpaw's comment on her opinions.

Our adventures out there?" she asked smirking slightly at him. A playful gleam still shone in her eyes as she spoke. She turned her head as soon as he hissed, peering out of the leader's den to spot Wrentalon a small smile forming on her face. She wanted to hurry up and announce this.. Were there enough cats in camp yet? She could always go out there and check..

Swiftleap glanced at her "Are you alright?" he asked frowning slightly. He paused at the border scenting the air for any sign of anymore dogs before he remarked the border and continued along it. He didn't scent anymore dogs so hopefully that one dog was by itself and wouldn't come back.. It sure seemed scared when he and Eaglefrost chased it away but you could never be too sure. He shook his head to clear it and glanced back at Tigerpool curiously.

Hawktalon nodded slowly "That is a good way to go about it." he said. "Something else you can do. But i'd say only with beasts like this. Is attack it's eyes. With something this big you have to fight dirty sometimes." he said frowning slightly. "Now i'd never tell you to blind a cat. But if the nursery and the kits are in danger and you have to blind a dog you've just got to do it. They're not another cat and we can't reason with them. They're not our prey we can't take them down easily. They're just a beast we don't want to fight but have to." he said. Hawktalon was not a cruel cat, he didn't like to cause unnecessary suffering, but he knew better than to think they could show any sort of mercy to something that wouldn't show it to them.

Reedgaze looked around camp trying to spot the two she-cats. "Yeah I guess you're right." she said. "I mean.. I thought about Eaglefrost.. He is Quietstar's mate but I guess you can't make someone your deputy just because they're your mate. I guess she'd like to have support from her mate and a deputy separately. It would get tiring to have to do everything on their own." she said. She then nodded slowly "Your choices make more sense though." she said. "At the very least one of them could have a shot at a senior rank?" she offered.

Pinesting shook his head "Oh I wouldn't say that." he said. "But I would say that for you." he murmured softly. He nuzzled her before he began to groom her fur hoping to make her feel at least a little bit better.. "Let's.. just focus on these three.. Think of how great their lives are going to be.. Maybe one of them will even be a warrior!" he said as he continued to groom her fur.

☞BEARPAW looked up at his mentor in unmasked surprise, green eyes growing to twice their size. "Do you really think my sister has a chance or are you just saying that?" the burly tom pushed, paws jittering with anticipation. He turned his head towards the sky, noting that it was nearly sunhigh already. The older apprentice nodded along with his mentor, understanding her perspective on the matter. It was nearly unheard of for a hunter to earn the rank of warrior, let alone be declared a deputy before that. Then again, he knew Wrentalon better than the rest of the clan and he was convinced that she would fit the role perfectly. "Maybe someday you'll become our deputy. You can be my deputy." the sooty gray apprentice grinned slyly, teasing Wolfheart ever so slightly.

☞EAGLEFROST grinned wickedly, puffing his chest out in mock pride. "I quite like the sound of Eaglestar." he purred, standing tall with head and tail held high. "Can't you just see it? I'd be the best- second best leader this clan has ever seen." the rambunctious tom chuckled lightly, shaking his large head. The broad shouldered warrior turned back to his mate, face soft once more. "Honestly? I much prefer the sound of Quietbrook and Eagleforst, off on their amazing adventures." At the mention of their abundance of kits, the feisty tom grinned again, dropping into a crouch before pouncing towards Quietstar, paws outstretched. "We can start so many different clans with our ninety litters. Quietclan, Eagleclan, Mouse-brainclan. The list is endless really." Eaglefrost quickly tired of his antics, circling his mate before laying down around her, his body stretched to wrap most of her up. He watched her intently, following her gaze back to Wrentalon.
