Lilyfoot

Lilyfoot went to catch up, but stopped when Softgaze told her. "Alright." She meowed, still worried. She munched on the mouse, and stopped, "Rosethorn said she heard two to four heartbeats, but it's hard to tell right now." She smiled, and flicked her tail. She looked at her belly, knowing kits were in there. She definitely was going to need to eat more, and she might not be able to hunt, but earlier she caught a vole. I wonder when I'll be forced to become a queen.. She thought.

~Rosethorn~

Rosethorn finished unsticking the cobwebs from her pelt and setting them on their proper ledge. Rose padded out of the den and blinked happily. She saw Lilyfoot, Softgaze and her kits playing by the nursery. Rose walked over and joined in.

Lilyfoot

"Hello Rosethorn!" She smiled, nudging the mouse over. "Have some." She smiled warmly, happy. She realized Rosethorn told her that kits would be coming, and that made her happy. She looked at Rosethorn, the medicine cat.

"Thanks Lilyfoot! I was starving!" Rose munched on the mouse, feeling its yummy flavor seep onto her tounge. She sat up and licked her lips. "The kits scampered around her. (I gtg sry )

Softgaze smiled kindly at Rosethorn before looking at Lilyfoot,"You know if you have any questions about expecting, kitting or kits, you can always ask me. I might only have three kits myself but as an apprentice and younger warrior i hung around the nursery a lot."She mews.

-Vinekit-

Vinekit smiled at her littermates, and quietly watched as the other kits worked out how they were going to play tag.She glanced over at her mother, Lilyfoot, and Rosethorn curiously for a moment before looking back at the kits.

Lilyfoot

Lilyfoot nodded, and meowed, "I noticed that there's many kits in the clan right now. One is 5 moons, and I wonder when some of them will be apprenticed. She flicked her tail, and laughs, "I guess I better go hunt before I become a queen. She smiled, and got up, pain coming a bit. She whimpered quietly, and ran off into the forest, seeing a crow in a tree. She stood on her hind legs, and jumped up, swiping at it. She immediately fell down, and she grumbled, Oh great.. Now I come back with no prey.. She dashed farther out, scenting an adder. The adder slithered towards her, and she yowled, jumping on it. She ended its life quickly, but Lilyfoot was tired. She ran back, dropping it in the fresh-kill pile. She raced into the warriors den, and jumped in her nest, falling asleep.

Fatalkit-

It's just not fair! Not fair at all!
She said to herself trying to hold her tears in.
Their parents are living and mine are dead!
They think I don't know the story behind
their deaths but I do. It's just not fair!
She added to her thought covering her eyes with her mitts,
not being able to hold her tears in anymore.
I just wish they were here.
I don't care what they did...
I just want them here.
I just want to see them.. For once.
She started to burst out tears but trying to muffle
her cries by covering her face.

"Fatalkit!" She gasped, waking up, and running over to her. "What's wrong?" She was worried about this kit, she hadn't seen one cry yet. The soon-to-be queen curled her tail around the small crying kit.

Fatalkit-

"It's nothing, honestly." She said trying to hold her tears in
but miserably failing, as they only got worse.

Lilyfoot

"I promise you can tell me Fatalkit," She mewed softly, "I won't tell a soul." She suddenly remembered her lover from the twoleg place, Spirit. She shook the idea away, thinking of comfy beds and forever food and everything else... She looked at Fatalkit, waiting for an answer.
