Sunpaw nods to her mentor, then collects the herbs she brought and padded back to camp with them. Once she arrived, she said to Windtail " I can sleep in the apprentices den tonight. Just to let Batpaw cool off right now." Besides, she thought it wasn't fair that she was just born the runt of the litter, while Batpaw had to deal with blindness. The she-cat flicked her ears, shaking the water off. She felt bad for Winterpelt and Ivyvine, having to stay out through the whole night in this rain.

Ivyvine fluffed her fur out, then stood up, shaking out the water. She didn't mind the rain, since her fur was kind of water-proof, but it was the cold that was getting to her. " Where in the name of StarClan is Winterpelt?!" She shivered, then saw everyone returning to camp.

"If you wish to." He nodded his head to SunPaw. Altough, he didn´t mind her staying, he thought he should leave it for her to decide.

Sunpaw said " I think it'll help with Batpaw." She took some moss into the apprentice's den, careful not to wake anyone, then made a makeshift nest, settling down, and soon falling into a deep sleep.

He nodded to his apprentice, before turning his attention back to BatPaw. He was interestd in what was causing these dreams.

Batpaw open his maw to speak, but when Sunpaw entered he fell silent. But as she left, he quietly added "What makes her think that solstice will help me instead of alienating me?" His tone was imploring yet bothered. After a few seconds of silence and raindrops, the blind tom began to sing.

The song of Starclan through the trees
The flowers dancin' 'round in the breeze
Fish flipping in the stream
Cats running 'round a tree's beams
Life moves never'ending
Yet never waste a second my dear
For the end could always be near....

A relaxed smile crossed his maw as he sung softly; for some reason, the strange melody comforted him, and getting it out helped as well. Maybe this would be the key to getting his sanity back.

"It´s just what she finds best. Everyone has their own methods." He meowed, ear giving a light flick. When he heard BatPaw singing, he turned his gaze at the apprentice."That´s a nice melody." He commented before placing his head down to catch what was still left of the night. It was soon going to be SunRise.

"Best for her," Batpaw murmured, laying his head back down with a sigh. "Thanks," the apprentice then added quietly, before rolling over to get some rest. I think it's a memory.,maybe when I fall asleep I'll remember something else...

She slowly woke up as the morning sun began to shine through the den entrance. She lightly yawned, and stretched her paws before exiting the den. The rain had stopped, but the Camp was filled with puddles. AmberFur went over to the leaders den, sitting down by it waiting for LeopardFur.

Batpaw wasn't sure how long he had been sleep, but when he awoke, he could feel weak sunshine on his pelt. It was dawn already. The apprentice flickered his namesake ears, and detecting soft breathing that meant Windtail was still sleep. Nothing wanting to bother his mentor after such a hectic yesterday, the ebony tom exited the den silently, blinking his milky turquoise eyes, sniffing in search of Snailpaw. He still owed the shecat a thanks for saving his life. I'll take a nap lster today to make up for the lack of sleep..
