Pinewhisker eyed the blackbird, his ears pricked. He gave a furious hiss as it started to rise off the ground, the sound from Featherdawn's stick cracking alerting it to danger. He leapt, claws just barely managing to snag on the bird's wing and pull it down to the ground. Quickly, he killed it.

She looks down at her young kit, she puts her tail closer to her so Petalkit could try to pounce on it.

She sees her mother's tail and jumps onto it, gently nipping at it. But then went to cuddle with her mother, feeling a bit lonely. (anyone wanna make Petalkit a brother or sister?)
