"Well, that's unfortunate," Colline remarked. "Unfortunately, I also have four brothers. They met a group of mean, traveling tomcats who promised them food and shelter in exchange for, well, their cooperation in hurting other cats, so.... Well, they went, and never looked back, is all I can say," she sighed. "The tomcats hurt kittens that they deem 'too weak' to be a part of our numbers, especially housecats. I've pretty much given up on trying to stop them, because their numbers are too great."
"Well, that sucks," Amsterdam remarked. "I can safely say that I've never met any cats who like hurting other cats, but, then, I probably hang out in a different part of the city from them." He let out a forced laugh. "There's still territorial cats everywhere you go, though."
