The Alley Cats~ Misled Souls (Semi-Lit RP! NEEDS MEMBERS!)

"Well, that's unfortunate," Colline remarked. "Unfortunately, I also have four brothers. They met a group of mean, traveling tomcats who promised them food and shelter in exchange for, well, their cooperation in hurting other cats, so.... Well, they went, and never looked back, is all I can say," she sighed. "The tomcats hurt kittens that they deem 'too weak' to be a part of our numbers, especially housecats. I've pretty much given up on trying to stop them, because their numbers are too great."

"Well, that sucks," Amsterdam remarked. "I can safely say that I've never met any cats who like hurting other cats, but, then, I probably hang out in a different part of the city from them." He let out a forced laugh. "There's still territorial cats everywhere you go, though."

Sparrow nodded with a wispy sigh. " It looks like we both weren't lucky," He turned to look at her a moment, then back to Amsterdam. "I agree," He muttered, his green eyes traveling off into a different world of his own for a minute or two. Sighing, he dropped back behind the two, his tail dragging on the ground. He didn't feel like lifting it up.
Wistfulness danced in his eyes. He wanted to be a part of something, he felt useless.

Suddenly, Amsterdam's ears perked up. He swiveled his ears from side to side, doing what the humans called 'moving their little satellite dishes', and picked up the source of the noise.
"A cry!" he called out. "A kitten! Good Lord; I'm hearing the dim cries of a kitten in pain!" His eyes widened, and his whole entire body stiffened, as he realized what the sound was.
Colline stiffened beside him, and he guessed Sparrow was doing the same. She lifted her nose into the air to sniff. "My brother's gang," Colline hissed suddenly. "They're hurting the kitten."
Amsterdam raised his nose in the air to smell, too; Colline was right about the strange cats. He just didn't know before where they were from; now, however, he did. "Well, should we go attack them?"
"No." Colline's voice was low. "Don't move. Wait."

Diesel followed Sahara into the vast park, a breath-takingly green place for a city so grey. She just listened to everyone speak, and then she realized they had met up with Colline's group. Diesel grimanced when she heard Colline talking about their brothers, and then she heard the kitten's cry of pain. Everyone else heard it too, because they were stiffening beside her. He tail was ridged, ears laid back.

(Nah, that's fine. I understand. ^.^; I have that problem a little bit right now, too. :3)

"What shall we do?" Amsterdam hissed into Sahara's ear. Colline was scenting the air beside him.
"Shut up," Colline hissed. "I need to think of a plan. There's three of 'em, so I think our little group should be able to overtake them. Right?" She looked upon all the other cats, then turned back to where the sound was coming from, just out of their sight range. "Okay, so when I say 'Go', then let's--" Suddenly, she stopped. "No! Five others have joined them!" She sighed. "Well, we'll have to take our chances, anyways." She glanced at Sahara. "Your brothers might actually have been helpful...," she admitted, nodding, and Amsterdam had to agree. "Well, anyways, when I say 'Go', we pounce! All right?" She glanced at each of them in turn. Amsterdam braced himself.

Sparrow flicked his tail with ease, looking around him a moment, hearing a muffled cry. He stiffened, his fur beginning to stand on end again. So that was what they did. He glanced at Diesel, Colline, and Amsterdam with a nervous look.
He listened carefully to her plan, nodding slowly. "Got it," He said, mustering some courage. Blood would be spilled, sure, but it was something they had to do. Knowing that, he didn't feel as scared as he normally would.

Beside Amsterdam, Colline flattened her ears. Amsterdam shivered. "Okay, let's roll," he whispered, getting into a pouncing position. "They appear to be behind that bush," he continued, pointing with his tail, "So we can easily sneak up on them, with no trouble. Right?" He glanced at Colline, who nodded. "Okay, then. Good. Well... let's...."
He was, however, cut off, as Colline hissed, "Go!"
The whole group pitched forward like a wave, and Amsterdam got ready to fight as the entire group of cats torturing the kitten looked up and immediately bristled out their fur, bushing their tails, and some unsheathing huge claws.
"Those things are hy-ooge!" Amsterdam hissed to Sparrow. The kitten sitting in the middle was possibly around four months old, his eyes green and filled with pain. He had black-and-white fur that was covered with scratches, and he had a black tail. He was whimpering steadily, crouching on tiny paws between two cats who were making sure the attacking marauders would not be able to save him. Amsterdam felt sorry for him, and dodged past the other cats. Soon, he was facing the two guards... alone.
"Sparrow, help me!" he screeched.

Sahara rushed passed Amsterdam, Nala, Tanner, Juli and Jako beside her. The five of them easily pulled down the two guards, and they began distracting the guards so that the others could get the kitten out. Nala and Sahara double teamed a huge tom, whilst Tanner, Juli and Jako each pulled down their own.
Niko noticed that Sahara and her siblings were distracting the toms, and so he flicked a tail towards the others. He'd go in and get the kitten whilst the others backed him up. Nothing could go wrong. Moving quickly in, he grabbed the kitten by the scruff and left the circle. The weight of the kitten was familiar, the fur extremely familiar. What was it about this kitten?

((Could the kitten be Nala and Niko's son? The kittens could have left home at three months to go their own ways. You can RP the kitten (well you are. Stupid sentence...).))

(Sure. I mean, that wasn't my original intent, but.... Actually, I can't really remember my original intent. XD Except maybe that the kitten was supposed to be a kittypet kit, and that's why the cats harmed him, because he wasn't really "good" enough to survive, or something....! )

Colline jumped forward and took out one of the smaller cats easily, but he was back in a second, fighting for his life, it seemed. Colline let out a battle screech and hissed while she attacked him, batting at him with unsheathed clawed paws. She was fighting for her life, here, and she didn't want to die, or anything!

Meanwhile, Amsterdam was glad for the help from Sahara's sister and her mate in defeating the two guards; they were certainly very large cats! However, they soon caved under the battle skills of more than three cats, and Amsterdam ran after Niko while the kitten swung in the older cats jaws. Amsterdam caught up with his new acquaintance soon enough, however, and sniffed the kitten.
"Is it okay?" he asked.

"I think he is." Niko frowned, and placed the kitten down behind a bush. He started licking the kitten clean, and cleaning its scratches. "I remember you..." Muttering, he recognised the kitten.
