Sontag paced around Jay, glaring at him. "I'm trying to decide whether I should strip you of your rank and make you a Learner again. You violated the Pack-Law and your punishment. You crossed the border and Echo had confined you to camp but you went hunting anyway. So tell me Jaybird, why shouldn't I strip your rank." Sontag growled. "I truly expected better from a Delta."

Marrow heard a wolf coughing. She raced toward her. "Are you alright?"

Jaybird

"I'm sorry sir .I swear it was an accident , my instincts got the better of me ."He said looking down at the ground ."Please give me a second chance , I will work extra hard and even do all the horrible jobs that no one else wants to to prove myself worthy ."

Glacies

Glacies jumped at the approaching wolf , trying to flee her legs faltered and buckled beneath her.She fell to the ground with a mix of coughing and whimpering .

•Sontag Cave•

Sontag stopped pacing and eyed him. "Your instincts?! You instincts should've told you, 'your Alpha would be terribly rageful toward you if you crossed that border' not, 'oh just cross it already and violate the punishment you get'."

Marrow gasped and laid beside Glacies. "It's alright, I'm sorry for frightening you." Marrow started licking Glacies's chest to ease her breathing.

"Went I realised that it was too late ."He said apologetically "I returned the prey and left , nothing else , i did not mean to anger you sire ."

Glacies

Shaking she slowly calmed down enough to look at the other wolf "Please help me .."She gasped .

"Get out! You are confined to camp until I find a suitable punishment. DO NOT LEAVE THIS CAMP!!" Sontag growled.

"Come." Marrow said as she gently hauled Glacies to her paws.

"Yes sire ."He said running out tail betweens his legs and he fled to the safety of his own den .

Glacies

Pushing herself up with much effort she stumbled next to the she-wolf .

Everest, who was licking her paw, looked up at the sound of an angry growl.

Sontag dropped into his nest furious. He started thinking of some punishment for Jay, even if he had to make one up.

Marrow kept Glacies up with her shoulder. "Come, there's den not far from here." Marrow lightly bit Glacies's scuff and kept her up.

Everest continued licking her paw, hoping no one confronted her.

Jay lasted a whole 5 minutes before he began to get bored .Pacing up and down he kicked up clouds of dust trying to keep himself amuzed .

Glacies nodded weakly , being so close to death that she no longer cared what happened to her .
