Moonshade sat down about a tail-length away from the two apprentices as she watched Sage and Angelsong start to fight. She really hoped Sage would somehow win, but something inside her felt like that would only happen if she was a seasoned fighter. But despite her being a strongly built she-cat, she was still only a kittypet- Angelsong, no matter how much the dark tabby didn't like her attitude, was basically one of the best fighters here. She curled her fluffy tail around her paws neatly, and watched with her big, indigo eyes staring at the two alertly.
As she saw Angelsong throw Sage off, she winced a little bit. She knew that move. Come on, Sage... she willed her silently as she urged her to get up. She let out a small breath of relief when she noticed the white she-cat had stood at once, regardless of her pain. When Sage attacked her back, she smiled approvingly. She's a quick thinker.... That's always good in battle. When she was able to catch her eye, Moonshade looked at her straight-on, basically applauding her silently with her electric eyes.
Then she blinked in shock when Angelsong pinned her like that and was relieved to see Fireface drag her off the former kittypet. Moonshade quickly got to her paws, darting to Sage and standing in front of her just in case. Angelsong wouldn't hurt her own clanmate, so she hoped she'd shield the injured cat if she tried to pull away from him. She laid her tail-tip on Sage's shoulder and whispered, "Good fighting, Sage.." she smiled at her without anyone seeing, then looked back at her leader.

Sage hissed, slashing at Angelsong's ear to make it bleed, but was pinned down, and right before she sliped out, a cat dragged her off, gowling, she bit Angelsong's tail, and bit as hard as she could before she let go, seeing it bleeding badly, she was some-what satisfied. Though she was in lots of pain, and bleeding in her shoulder, and on top of her right eye. Sage wasn't sad though, she had bitten Angelsong's front left leg and tail, sad though that she hadn't bitten hard enough to break her bone, but defenetly hurt her running skills by biting her paws, and damaged her balance by biting her tail. She acnoleged the dark she-cat from her defence, "Thank you" She whispered, still having a low growl in her throught.[/color]

"Practice makes perfect? But nobody's perfect, so why practice?"

Angelsong yowled in pain as her tail was bitten. An anger like no other over whelmed her and she broke from Fireface's grasp and ran straight at Moonshade, ramming her out of the way and straight into Sage. She bit Sage's ear and ripped a chunk of it off. Blood gushed into her mouth. Silverstar yowled something but she was blinded by fury and deafened by rage. She used her large, razor sharp claws and scratch Sage's neck. Once again Fireface jump in and dragged her away, this time helped by Silverstar and Wisepaw, who jumped up as Angelsong had attacked again.

Silverstar's heart jumped to her throat as Angelsong attacked again, but more vicious this time. No! Sage shouldn't of done that! "Angelsong! No! Stop!" she yowled with a mixture of fear and aggravation in her voice. Angelsong was capable of killing even a strong willed cat like Sage. Silverstar jumped forward and helped Fireface drag her away. Wisepaw jumped in to help as well, fearful for the white she-cat. When Fireface and Wisepaw had Angelsong pinned, Silverstar stepped in between them all and yowled, "Enough!" Her yowl echoed loudly around the camp. Anger burned in her eyes now, but fear still shined through.

Moonshade's eyes flew open when she saw Angelsong flying towards her and let out a shocked yowl as she landed hard on the ground, hitting her shoulder pretty hard. She got up with a hiss of pain, and leaned on her right side, keeping off her sore leg, but rushed forward, wanting to help, but three cats already got the enraged warrior. Instead she shot to Sage's side, now noticing the white cat was on the ground. Her ear looked like it was bleeding heavily and she lowered her head to inspect Sage fearfully, balancing on only one side as she licked Sage's forehead, "Sage?" she murmured quietly. She licked her wound, ignoring the salty, tangy taste of her blood and flicked one ear as she heard Silverstar yowl for everyone to stop. She laid her tail on Sage's back once more, and glared at Angelsong, this time not letting her touch her again. Her dark, intelligent eyes were ominous and eerie.
If Angelsong was know for her strength, Moonshade was known for her dark, fierce power that always created an aura that surrounded her slightly whenever she felt protective or angry. Her pretty face was shadowed with a ferocity that dared the other she-cat to attack again. Her look could scare any cat- no matter how experienced they were. Whenever this feeling came over her, she could easily become lethal. She just never used that... 'power' around her clanmates; though she was sure they knew how to keep a respectful distance from her when she looked like this.

Sage got up, hissing, and took a good long breath, but this was not over, at least not yet. She bounded over to where Angelsong was and looked back at Moonshade, nodding, she turned around, and hissed in her face, clawing her muzzle to make it bleed like her ear. "Don't ever call me a kittypet!" She hissed, turning away from the mad warrior, and walked over to Moonshade, staring bodly at Angelsong, Fox-hearted no good mouse dung! She thought, but biting her tounge, You may have won here, but I won in spirit, when you die, you'll go to the dark forest and quarrel in pain under no stars or moon for enternety! She yowled in her head, wincing at the pain surging through her body and leaned on Moonshade on her good side.

The dark tabby's eyes seemed to glow as she glared, but she calmed down a little when Sage responded. She growled slightly at her when she slashed Angelsong's muzzle. "No more of this, Sage," she hissed quietly in her ear. It sounded mean, but it was for her own protection. Moonshade supported her easily though and didn't budge. "Where's Spiderfrost?" she called out in slight annoyance at the two she-cat's immaturity. She looked at Wolfpaw. "Could you please fetch Spiderfrost? The BOTH of them need to be tended to."

Sage nodded, "I know, I'm sorry, I got a little carried away, but I just hate the word kittypet and it makes me remeber my old.." She stopped talking, she hated talking about her old mate, she just wished she'd had kits with him, she was getting fatter though, and beginning to become hungrier every day. Sage just shook it off, she didn't know what happened when you bacame pregnant anyways.[/color]

Wolfpaw nodded, running into the medicine cat den, "Spiderfrost! Spiderfrost!" He yowled, and saw Starpaw come out, "What?" She demanded, "Come out here!" He meowed, turning around to bound towards Moonshade, "Starpaws coming!" He meowed.

Angelsong wa absolutely livid now. She let out a very loud, ear piercing shriek that would make even a tough, dark warrior like Moonshade cringe. It even scared Silverstar and Fireface. Making them both jump in fear. Wisepaw nearly soiled herself she was so scared by it. Angelsong's eyes were not their beautiful aqua green they usually are. They were almost blood red with anger, fury and rage. "How dare you! Do you honestly think you could be called anything of a warrior?! Much less a rogue?! she yelled at the she-cat with bared fangs, "If you mother was such a great 'clan cat', then why didn't she let you stay in her clan? Hmm?! Why did she dishonor you to the life of a worthless kittypet?! You will never be a warrior! I could have killed you just then had Fireface not been there to save your worthless self!" Angelsong was interrupted when Silverstar put up her tail. Angelsong, even though defiant, understood when she needed to stop.

Silverstar was about to open her mouth to hiss a warning to Sage when a blood curtling shriek pierced the air. Silverstar's pelt crawled at the shriek and she looked over at where it came from. She saw Fireface nearly jumped out of his pelt and Wisepaw looked as if she was going to soil herself. As Angelsong scolded Sage, Silverstar sat in utter silence, surprised and terrified by the whole ordeal. When Angelsong stopped for a breath, Silverstar put her tail up and that was when she noticed she was shaking. Great StarClan... But, she cleared her throat and cast a glare at Sage. "I said enough. If you can't accept that you were defeated, you are no warrior at all! A warrior knows when they are defeated and accept it! If you can't accept defeat, you will not join my clan! she paused, getting her shaking under control, "I let you into my camp, fight one of my warriors, and all you can do is deny that you lost. What's done is done and if you want to keep fighting, I will kill you myself! You are outnumbered here and if you-" she looked at Moonshade mow, "Are so willing to defend her, you will die as well!" Silverstar was firm with her words and meant every one. But even she was surprised by what she said. "Now, enough, is enough." she snarled at Sage through bared teeth.

Moonshade's eyes flew open at Angelsong's shriek. It sent shivers up her spine but she tried to hide her startled reaction. She swallowed hard, actually afraid as she listened to her yell at Sage like that. She growled under her breath when finally fell silent; thinking to herself, Sage should've stopped this long ago... I told her enough was enough before she snapped back. She narrowed her eyes, glaring at the ground for a moment before looking up in shock at her leader, ears pricked. What Silverstar said was true.
But then she heard the last part about herself and she took one step back in confusion, fear and hurt all mixed together; moving away from Sage's side now in her bewilderment. She shivered at Silverstar's statement at her killing Moonshade if she defended her. She wanted to defend herself, but didn't dare speak. Plus, she was so shaken up by that one sentence, she couldn't even form words. Would she actually kill me? We grew up together!

She looked down, eyes huge, and pinned her ears back. But I'm not defending anyone! I was making sure Angelsong didn't attack her again so Sage wouldn't have to fight back! Why am I always the bad guy?! All these and more questions burning in her mind, but she didn't utter one word. She shivered still a little, "Silverstar...? I- I-" she broke off, looking away. She suddenly felt like her suspicions were true. No one cared for her. She looked back at the ground, rage and utter hurt storming around in her dark eyes.
