Shadow That Dances at Night
Shadow did not realize until moments later that he was being flanked on both sides by his kits. The only missing foe was little Silver, and thankfully, they did not send for reinforcements. The tom glanced around briefly, making sure no one was around before collapsing to the ground in a mock surrender. "You have bested me, young ones." he commented quietly, attempting to fill the huge role of a father that loomed before him. Shadow had never known anyone to be his father, so it was strange trying to be something he lacked the knowledge of doing. He had always been so sure about his decisions, but raising children was much harder than planning battles.
He rose from his spot, glancing at his kits with a faint smile on his maw before it quickly evaporated. "Go off to your mother. She is probably wondering where you are. Tell her I will be back soon, and that I love her . . ." The word love took on a strange meaning for him. He loved both Talon and Little, but he enjoyed seeing her face light up whenever he said it. His heart was cold and distorted, but there was some goodness in him beneath the fog. The tom headed for the trees, planning on visiting Talon and her kits for a while.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
He rested quietly below the base of a palm tree. Feel free to wake him.

Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower felt her paws slipping a few times on the smooth stone, but she refused to admit her fear. The heights scared her, and she had a new appreciation for those that hunted in this area. Her claws unsheathed instinctively, giving her an extra grip on the stone below. The final jump landed her a crumpled mound in the sound; however, she was unharmed, just a tad dazed. She stood up after a moment, shaking her head clear of particles of sand and dirt. She was moreso glad to be off of the cliff side. When she came to her senses, the she-cat rushed forward to examine Flame with wide eyes. "This is bad . . ." she mumbled, staring up at Fire with wide eyes. Flower kept her voice low so as not to spook Flame with her words. It was a miracle she was conscious and awake, and she did not want to frighten her further with how she appeared to be doing rather than how she felt. "We need to get you patched up and back to camp." she piped up to Flame, trying to put on a positive persona. Flower dropped her anger towards Crow for the time being, taking on that strange comforting feeling she felt around her sometimes. She nodded her head in grim agreement, forgetting their rivalry.

AFTER THE FLAME SITUATION
Flower adjusted her seating to get a bit more comfortable on the sand-strewn ground, peering up at Ice with wide, inquisitive eyes. She was a decent listener when she tried to be. Her head tilted curiously when Ice mentioned a sister, not realizing that she had one to begin with. A hint of guilt was evident in her expression, disappointed in herself for not knowing her clan mates better. She had a tendency to stick with a small group of friends, which happened to be Minnow and Tide, and this resulted in slight isolation from the going-on's in camp. "Oh, of course! I won't say a word. My mouth is shut." she made a motion across her paw as if she was zipping her maw closed, nodding her head encouragingly for Ice to continue. She was curious now to hear the tale of Ice's mysterious nightmare.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
"I agree!" she stated immediately in response to Feather, wishing for the hasty return of Tempest. Her half-brother was important to her, though she did have a hint of jealousy over his role in the tribe. She did not feel as important as he was, but she had learned to accept her position as a sailor in the tribe. The tribe was her family and her home, and she would not ask for anything more than their companionship. Stream turned to Whisper and admitted,"We will keep you safe. Don't fret!"
