She grinned mischievously. "I'll make sure to wake you up before the sun rises." She teased, chuckling softly. Once in the forest she raised her muzzle and parted her jaws, taking in the refreshing scents of the forest. "Where do you want to hunt?" She asked, ears flicking back and forth as she heard various noises and sounds.

Rowanflame smiled as she returned the lick to the cheek. He then nudged the mouse toward her. "Go on, take first bite." he insisted politely.

Sandclaw jumped into a nearby bush, careful not to make a sound. His ears perked as he heard a faint sneeze, and he assumed it was just Cloverwing. The tom then flicked his tail once he was in the right position. He made sure to give just a slight flick, because he didn't want to alarm the prey.

The brown tabby tom's ears swiveled around as he listened to the sounds that erupted from the forest. There were plenty of birds chirping, but he cringed at the thought of trying to chase the winged creatures around. "Maybe we could go fishing instead of hunting? I'm sure that there are plenty of fish in the river near the border of our territory," Cedarpaw didn't like fishing much either, but it was less difficult for him than hunting was. "It's warm enough that we won't freeze to death, but I'm going to try to keep my pelt as dry as possible," he said as his maw formed into an amused smirk.

She nodded, "That's fine." Dewpaw didn't actually know how to swim not fish, but she didn't say anything. How hard could it be anyway? She wasn't the best at hunting, but this wasn't conventuals hunting so perhaps she would be good at it. She walked forward, feeling The breeze ruffle her fur. "It certainly wouldn't be fun." She chuckled, preceding towards the river.

The brown tabby tom raced ahead, only slowing down when they finally reached the bank of the river. He pushed through the ferns that grew there, breathing in their familiar, musty scent. Cedarpaw waded into a shallow part of the river, the cool water flowing around his paws. He climbed on top of the nearest rock, and leaned over, ready to catch a fish if one decided to come his way. "I call this spot to hunt. I hope that one of us will catch a plump, tasty fish," he called to her softly. Cedarpaw didn't want the fish to hear him, but he also wanted to carry on their conversation.

She quickened her pace not to be left behind, panting slightly as they neared the bank. She watched as he moved into the water, then onto a rock. "I rather not get my fur wet." She said with a small grin, crouching at the water's edge. She couldn't tell how deep it was where she was, but with the current, a cat could surely be swept away. She waited for Cedarpaw to begin fishing, deciding to watch him to try to learn that way.

Cedarpaw heard the grey and white she-cat's comment, but he stayed silent as he watched a fish swim his way. His green gaze followed its movements intently, and when it was finally in reach, he scooped it out of the water with his paws. The glossy fish fell onto the rock, and Cedarpaw, an inexperienced fisher, nearly lost the fish as it started to flop around. He pinned the writhing, finned creature down with his paws, and he delivered a bite to its head. The classic tabby held his catch up proudly as he showed it to Dewpaw. It wasn't exactly what he had wanted to catch, but it would definitely satisfy the hunger of one of the clanmembers. ''I guess that this is the one type of prey that I'm actually capable of catching,'' he said with humor filling his voice. It had taken him many unsuccessful tries before, but Frosttail had taught him to be a good fisher.
