Their conversation drifted through the breeze and Kestrelflame welled up with fury. She stormed out of camp, sizzling and popping with anger. She made her way to the thunder path. “Wouldn't it just be better if I went now?” She murmured to herself, but quickly shook the thought away. She bounded across the thunder path and entered the twoleg neighborhood. She saw a few kitty pets lounging around and decided to steer clear of them. She sat down quietly when a small, fluffy dog came bounding up to her. She looked at it in wonderment. It came closer to her and licked her face. Kestrelflame backed away in shock. “What the...?” She wondered out loud as the dog came closer. She stroked its head and it laid down obediently.

"Really?" She blinked in surprise. "That's really cool! You're related to a clan leader! Are you proud?" She glanced outside. "I think you should go explain to Kestrelflame... She needs your love, and your trust."

Kestrelflame looked at the dog. “Uh...” She said awkwardly, then moved her tail up as in stand. It stood. “Wow, awesome!” She exclaimed, earning a few glares from the kitty pets. Kestrelflame rolled her eyes and sat down, as in telling the dog to sit also. It barked once and sat down, tail wagging. “I’ll name you...Flames.” She decided, smiling. She patted the dog’s head and smiled. Flames barked. Kestrelflame slowly got onto the dog’s shoulders. “Stand!” She instructed, and the dog did so. “Whoa...cool!”
