Leopardpaw

Leopardpaw emerged from the apprentice den, she had just taken a short nap. She looked around at her clanmates, joyful to have their company. Out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of grey tabby fur. It was her mentor. Leopardpaw bounded up to Miststep. She beamed up at her silvery mentor, her jade eyes shining and her ears perked happily. "Hi Miststep!" she chimed.

"Hello, Leopardpaw." replied Miststep. She flicked her ear, secretly worrying about having a new apprentice so soon. She'd only just rejoined the clan, and although she had not told Eaglestar--the leader, her friend, had enough to worry about--she hadn't completely recovered from her injuries in the fire. Perhaps she never would. Still, looking down at her eager apprentice, the warrior couldn't help but smile. She would have to try not to disappoint her. "I imagine you've already had some training done. Tell me, is there anything you struggled with? Fighting, hunting, tracking...?"

Shadowpaw kept a slight distance from all the commotion, and watched Falconpaw run after Cloudstrike. She has a strong mind, and is infinitely loyal to her clan...I wish I could be like her, in a way. Just not against SunClan. The tom figured that Eaglestar was busy at the moment, so Shadowpaw sat down on a sun-warmed rock, and began to groom his fur. He'd wait until he was needed for a patrol or something. But he had been awfully unhelpful lately...not leaving the camp for days. Well, you'd probably be better help sitting around in the camp than trying to recall your hunting "skills" in the grasslands. You'd probably scare away the few signs of prey that there are, Shadowpaw.

Eaglestar spotted the dark fur of her apprentice across the camp. She was tired, but she knew she needed to put her new apprentice first. She padded towards him, waving her tail behind her. "Shadowpaw." she called in greeting as she approached, smiling at him.

Pebblerun smiled and let out a little laugh. " It's alright with me. That was good thinking, Frostfeather." She meowed. " So what were you planning on doing? Exploring the territory?" She asked Frostfeather.

Lightpaw grinned again, glad that her mentor wasn't angry at her, despite the deputy's strict reputation. She was somewhat guilty to find that she had actually gotten used to being without a mentor.

Boulderstride mewed, "Pineclaw?!"

Pineclaw turned back towards Boulderstride--a little confused, as he'd thought she'd just said goodbye. "Yes?" he replied, instinctively scanning the area for danger.

"Is there any reason they wouldn't?" replied Pineclaw, twitching his scarred ears.

"Im a loner I ran away, abandoned the clan." She mewed sadly looking into his eyes

"Everyone ran from the fire." growled Pineclaw. "To stay meant to die. If you truly wanted to abandon your clan, you wouldn't have returned." Pineclaw glanced away, towards the tree where the ceremony had just taken place. "Besides, it looks like we're letting anyone into the clan these days." he bared his teeth. "If Eaglestar lets stray kittypets join us but refuses a full blooded StoneClan warrior, she'll have me to answer to."

"Thanks Pine... WAIT SHES LETTING KITTY PETS JOIN!!" She purred, then her voice raised, "They dont know anything, how do we know they are pure at heart?"
