Volantpaw noticed Duskpaw, she looked to Rainsplash, she didn't want to leave him though the tom looked forlorn and lonely, he needed somebody. With a heavy hearted sigh, as if a knife had been stabbed through her abdomen, she padded over to Duskpaw and gave a friendly lick over the ear.

Volantpaw was about to say a hello to him though her brother came over. The she-cat shrugged her shoulders, she was not heavy-set like her brother, and she wasn't medium built like her father. She was more lithe than anything and had a thin appearance, though she was rather powerful already.

Fawndapple was awake, but she kept her eyes closed. Her body was sweating and voices rang in her head. "No!" Feather yowled. "Why did he die? What did I do to deserve this!" Fawn went up and mewled, "You didn't do anything." She mewed sweetly. Feather growled and raised a paw. "It's your fault! He is dead because of you! If I hadn't been taking care of your fur I could have helped!" She yowled and flung her away. "It's YOUR fault." The three words rang in her ears. Her body shook and she let out little whimpers.
