Suncloud left the three with dressed wounds. Her mind was heavily troubled. "Oh, Mossfur. I was about to come see you. Come on." She lay her tail on his shoulder, and led them.

Cedarpaw nodded, "of course," he replied, sad for the now half-blind warrior

"Oh hi, Suncloud," Blade greeted her. "You sure seem busy. Anyways I'm gonna go hunt," she mewed stretching her jaws in a lazy yawn.

Mossfur leaned against the medicine cat apprentice as they walked, his thoughts solely on Lightheart and what she would choose. He loved her and the loss would mean that he would choose to remain mate less if she chooses not to stay by his side.

Suncloud nodded. "Oh, yes. I don't have time to even sort my herbs."
She grabbed a celandine flower. She padded over to Mossfur.
"It'll hurt, but I need you to open your eyes as wide as possible." She mewed.

Mossfur flinched at Suncloud's request, opening his right eye as wide as possible while unable to move the left. "What will this do?"

"It'll help, most likely."
She examined the eye.
"Badly scratched. I may, just maybe, be able to heal it. Maybe."
She held the flower over the eye, squeezing out the juice.
"This'll sting, probably badly. Don't close your eye."

Mossfur hissed in pain, jerking back and tripping over his own paws. He fell on his side with the bad scratch, a yowel of agony sounding from him.
