Rako's eyes went wide with surprise as the stag tried to crush him. He cried out in pain as his leg got caught under the weight. He didn't weigh half as much yet... He needed help... But he had to do this alone.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, slashing at the deer's now exposed stomach. "Take that you mother killing bastard!"

[Bolt1784]

The stag stood up and stumbled backwards, then collapsed on the ground and died just like that.
Suddenly two fawns shot out from behind a bush and ran over to the dead stag, squeaking and licking him over and over.

Rako stood there, watching the fawns. Guilt rushed over him. His legs started to shake, making him drop to the ground. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me." Tears rolled down his cheeks for the poor fawn's father, had he really been bad? Or had there
been a reason behind it?
He gulped and padded up to the fawns, his head low. "I'm...I'm... I'm sorry." He couldn't help but stutter due to his crying. "I didn't know..." He looked around with a frown. "Where is your mother?"

The two fawns started shaking and slowly backing away from Rako, keeping their heads low. They were so frightened of Rako they couldn't even look at him.

[Solanum]

"Please, please. Don't be afraid of me. I am ashamed of my actions. I would never hurt you, or let others hurt you. Now, if you don't mind. Could one of you answer my question?" He laid down on the ground, his head low. He wasn't exactly being submissive, but he was showing that he wasn't a threat.

The young fawns squeaked and both started running off, but one suddenly fell down and cried out in pain. The other one didn't stop running until it was a bit further away. The one that had fallen down was stuck in a leghold trap...

Rako padded over, bringing his healing gear with him. He pried open the leg trap, cutting his paw slightly but other than that doing no harm to himself. He immediatly began to treat the fawn's leg, not giving infection time to even get into the wound. He gave her/him a few poppyseeds to help with the pain and curled up beside her/him, humming softly.

The injured fawn sighed and fell asleep, feeling comfortable with Rako curled around him. ((That's one down, one to go. X3))

Rako nuzzled him and slowly padded over to the other fawn, stopping several meters from it. "Please. I'm trying to help you. I don't mean you any harm. You have to trust me." He sat down, pointing at himself with his paw. "I am Rako. What are you two called?"

"I'm Verena, and my little brother's name is Enrique..." The fawn replied hesitantly. ((I'm guessing Rako can speak deer))
