Halo
Halo gave an odd snirk, keeping a fairly decent stride as he limped along. "Agreed, plus the mares will need to be watched extra close. What with that rogue still in the area." he confirmed, noting that the herd was coming into view. With a flood of relief, he spotted Heartz right next to his friend Dolce. Dolce. Yep, his friend. That's all he'd ever be to her, and he knew that all to well. Livius had sucked her in with his friendliness and boyish charm. Lucky. He gave a soft sigh, not dwelling on it too long as Canad came into view. And then he stopped cold. Standing atop the wind swept hill just a few feet from the lead stallion was one of the most striking mares he'd ever seen. A warm, brown coat, with the most wondeful dark accents. Her eyes were a rich, harvest gold. "Well, it appears our fearless leader has been struck down by the mythical powers of beauty once more." he said with a grin, shaking his head with a laugh. Bahh, Canad was almost as big a flirt as himself... speaking of which. He cut his eyes to Famous. She was on her own, obviously smitten by Canad's state of total distraction. He would go help her recover from the trauma once he finished informing the herd. With a well composed gate, he tryed not to show his limp in the presence of the new female. "Canad, sir, the rogue has breached the protection of the river. He crossed somewhere downstream. Livius and I forced him into the woods, but there's no doubt he'll return." he reported gravely, giving the mare a courtious nod. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed movement. As he tilted his head to get a better look, he was quietly astounded by the appearance of yet another stallion. Great hardy clover buds... he thought in utter amazment, Surely there's a record somewhere... His mouth turned up in a crooked smile at this sudden influx of equids, but his eyes remained ever vigilant. He was wary of this approuching male, though he didn't really feel the need to grow hostile. It seemed just as cagey as he was, it's head lowered to a nonthreatening angle. Maybe, this time, it was a friend.
