Relatively sheltered between two buildings, Izzy had settled down finally. Some blocks down from where she was there was quite a lot of noise, but she'd gotten human-made medicine, and food, from a small store and it was no longer her concern what the humans did about it. Her son was already showing signs on improvement, sleeping soundly on one of her tails and against her side rather than the feverish state he'd been in for days up until this point. And she was... tired. She'd been walking so long.

Twist :: Mewtwo :: Majin

Twist shook her head quickly. "It's fine! Not like I was really... doing anything to stop that from happening. Should have kept better track of my tail." She drifted a bit closer to the other mewtwo, eyes slightly wide. "I... sorry, I've just never met another of our kind before. My name is Twist." She offered after a bit of an awkward pause.

Legion raised an 'eyebrow', speaking up again with their gravelly voice. "So.. you chose an old alleyway. Instead of somewhere soft or a cave or somethin'."

Cirrus // she/her // luxray // tags: Twig
Cirrus flicked her ear, watching the other pokemon with a keen eye. "Invite me where exactly?"(i think you didn't finish the last response, so sorry if Twig wasn't inviting her anywhere).

Majin // they/them // mewtwo // tags: Twist
Majin watched with a similar curiosity to the other mewtwo as she approached them, a look of something akin to wonder glinting in their eyes. "Neither have I. Didn't know other pokemon like me existed," they replied with a shrug. They were silent for a moment longer until they realised they still hadn't introduced themselves. "Oh! I'm Majin. It's nice to meet you," they said with a slight smile.

She had known others were at least... made. She'd heard whispers of past experiments 'before', when she wasn't really awake but still vaguely aware. When she wasn't 'Twist' yet. There had been no real way to know if any of them were still around though -- or where she'd find them. Clearly she'd never needed to look if she'd just stumbled across one. "It's nice to meet you, Majin," she noted, finally throwing caution to the wind and darting forward in the air to circle the other mewtwo curiously. "It really is, I'm not just saying that as a formality." What had led to their darker, more purple color, she wondered. Or perhaps she was the odd one out? Pink-skinned and blue-eyed due to the failed goal of making a true mew? That was a possibility.

Majin took a few steps in a circle to follow the way that Twist was... well, for lack of a better word twisting around them, before giving up and just joining in with the floating. It gave them the chance to be able to look at the other mewtwo themselves. What was with the other's colouration and size for that matter? She seemed to be a good head shorter than them at least and had a brighter pink colour to boot. She reminded them of a mew, if the ledgends of what the small pokemon looked like held true at least.
Either way, it felt nice to have another pokemon to let loose with. Majin hovered lazilly in the air and gave Twist another small grin.

The instant she realized that Majin was turning in time with her she couldn't help but giggle, raising one hand to cover her mouth but not really managing to disguise it in any real way. Now that the confusion had fully faded she found she was really just left with excitement. "It's a bit unfair," she decided suddenly, speaking up again, "why do you get to be so tall?"

Majin let out a small chuckle of their own at Twist’s giggle. They briefly let their eyes drift shut for a few moments until the other mewtwo spoke up again and prompted them out of their brief shut-eye. ”Could ask the same to you. How come you’re so different from me? I suppose it’s because of what I was made for. I was meant to be a glorified weapon, so I guess I needed to have the looks - and height apparently - to back that up.”

"Ah," Twist drifted to a slow stop, reclining slightly in the air with her tail looped up and around one leg. Better to keep it out of the way if she'd already had someone run into it today. "That does explain it, I suppose," she answered. "They were trying to... hm, I believe the exact phrase they used was 'correct the original experiment' -- to create a mew rather than something based off of it." She held her arms out vaguely, "they failed, obviously. I guess I'm smaller because of that, I wasn't mean to be a weapon." She frowned suddenly, straightening up in the air as she seemed to really register what they'd said after she repeated it. "That sounds terrible, are you okay?"

”Correct an experiment, eh?” Majin hummed in thought. ”So you weren’t the first. Probably more of us out there then...” They were only snapped out of their sprialing thoughts (again) when Twist piped up with her concern. They straightened themselves up a bit more and loosely draped their tail over their lap. ”Huh? Oh, it wasn’t as bad as it sounds. Had to fight and undergo some experiments, sure, but i was allowed to do what I pleased in the facility otherwise. Worst I got from it was this,” they explained and pointed to a large scar that ran from their right shoulder down to where their tail began. ”Enough about me though, what were you made for then?”

"Mmhm, I always knew there was at least one other out there somewhere, but not much more. I think it ended in disaster though." Her frown didn't fade immediately, but at the very least it didn't seem like they'd had a horrible time of it. "That doesn't sound too bad," she admitted, "so long as you don't mind fighting I suppose." Her posture relaxed once more and she gave a soft, sheepish laugh when the topic turned to her. "To be a companion to a child, if you'd believe it. The man funding the experiment had a daughter -- about seven years old when the experiment was finished -- who was, apparently, fascinated by old tales of mew. He was always worried about people targeting her for his money, so he decided that creating a mew as a friend and protector was the logical conclusion, I guess." She snorted softly. "Humans confuse me sometimes, but the girl was sweet."
