Fawnfoot barred his teeth as another dog entered the clearing. A windpack ambush? Fawnfoot lowered himself in aggressive stance, tail in the air. Spotted didn't care about the idea of being a prisoner but adding another to the mix. Fawnfoot didn't imagine Velvetstar would be very pleased with him or Snowstorm if they brought two spies or outsiders into their camp. Hackles raised, Fawnfoot eyed the new dog cautiously while addressing Spottedfeather. "Who is this?" he spat, harshly, not taking his eyes off the newcomer.

“Velvetstar won’t be pleases to see one, let alone two outpackers. I’m not impressed.” Snowstorm huffed. Anger and annoyance in her voice. “We could take them both as prisoners I’d suppose. It’s best to let Velvetstar decide what course of action we should take. She is the alpha of the pack.” Is Starpack testing our patience? She sighed. Either way the new warriors aggressive stance remained.

Spotted’s eyes widened at the sight of the dog. She smiled. “Hawk!”
She looked back at the other two. “He won’t hurt any of you.”
Hawk shook his head. “Why are you around ShadowPack dogs, Spotted? Don’t you remember what Bristlestar did to Rainfur and Mudtail?”

Fawnfoot's hackles rose and he growled deeply at the two strange dogs. "We should take them with us. Any outpackers in the territory should be dealt with by the alpha," he agreed with Snowstorm. "The pup can come too, he's no threat," he added with a glance at the shaking little puppy.

Nari fell asleep in the sunny patch as she slept softly, her guard still up even as she slept. Nari's ears perked up a little at every sound or they twitched showing she was reacting in some way.

“Hear that, Holland? Everything’s fine now.” She told the pup who seemed to really like her. She honestly hoped Holland got to join the pack. He’s a sweet pup who needs to be looked after. And she couldn’t as she was a new warrior and she had to sit vigil all night. She could visit him on occasion when she wasn’t too busy. She gave the pup a comforting lick, hoping to calm him down. Poor pup.

Spotted looked down at Holland, sighing as she did so. Hawk snorted. "Prisoner? I rather not be."
She quickly hushed her brother.

Holland eased up when Snowstorm licked his fur. He still worried, though, with all the new dogs he was surrounded by.

Hawk growled before going silent, Spotted holding out a paw towards little Holland. Spotted smiled a bit, but inside she wondered what the Alpha of ShadowPack would do to them. She put the thoughts to the side and nuzzled her brother.

Fawnfoot eyed the male dog cautiously. The female, his sister probably, seemed submissive but the male seemed far more dominant then his sibling. "Lead the way back to camp, Snowstorm," Fawnfoot ordered. His fur stood on end and his tail pointed straight out behind him. Carefully keeping an eye on the intruders, he circled around them preparing to take up the back of the small group to ensure none of the strangers would attack Snowstorm with her back turned to them. Fawnfoot's shepherd protection instincts ran rampant as he thought of how dangerous it could be to take two strangers straight to the shadowpack camp. What if they escaped and told shadowpack's enemies where to find them? The warrior snapped at Spotted and her brother's heels to get them moving. The pup would inevitably be accepted into the pack so Fawnfoot wasted no time fussing over him. Holland would find an adoptive mother and grow up happily as a shadow pack warrior.
