Tawnyshadow looked away. "I don't know what happened to her family... I'm not sure if anyone does." The she-cat flicked her ear and rasped her tongue over her pelt. "Maybe they dies of natural causes?..." The warrior looked over at Sheep and tipped her head a bit.

the apprentice stood up as the medicine cat picked up the leaves. at the tom's question, he was a little surprised. "well, i don't remember much from the rogue band, as i was still very young. all i remember is a sense of panic and our mother taking us away from home. she told our father to catch up with them but we never saw him again. i do remember mother saying she was going hunting but never coming back, so me and tansy went," he paused, looking at stoatfur. "er, i mean tansypaw. me and tansypaw moved on together until we found the clan. i don't think i've ever been so hungry and so desperate." he explained, looking at his paws.

the fæ stood up and looked at ashblaze. "yeah, that would be nice." she agreed before smiling at him. "i'm glad i've got you, ashblaze. you're the only one keeping me sane!" she chuckled a little before beginning to head towards the camp entrance.

A while later, Owlcall returned with Sheep. He pushed a dish under the gap in the fence before hopping over the fence to get to the other side, Sheep scrambling after him. Owlcall pushed the bowl into the abandoned twoleg den and over to Tawnyshadow and the kits. "Here." he mewed, nudging the dish full of milk towards the kits, watching as the grey and black tom sniffed curiously at the milk before lapping at it. "I'll go find Coconutpaw." Owlcall mewed, tracking the medicine cat apprentice's scent trail.

"I found food for the kits." Owlcall mewed once he found Coconutpaw and the third kit. "She needs to eat. She looks the weakest out of the three."

The pale she-kit squeaked at Coconutpaw again, her tiny ears perked up so she'd be able to catch Coconutpaw's squealed reply.

She narrowed her eyes with suspicion when she saw a strange tom standing at the entrance to hers and Sheep's barn. [center]Sheep smiled, the sadness she had been feeling retreated and was replaced with her normal perkiness. The long-haired she-cat turned tail and bounded out of the abandoned twoleg den, her jaws parting to scent the air for the starlings she had heard earlier.

"You can't hide from me." She whispered triumphantly when she caught their scent. Sheep darted off in the direction the scent was coming from.

After what felt like forever, Sheep ducked back into the abandoned twoleg den, dragging two starlings and a mouse with her. "I thought the others would be hungry too."

"Wow! Your already a great hunger Sheep!" The warrior praised, beginning to stand before she remembered the kittens around her stomach. Tawnyshadow sat back down and looked down at the two with bright eyes, before shaking her head and looking back at Sheep. Dragging the Starling over to her with her paw, she took a small bite, enjoying the taste of the bird.
