He sits in camp unaware of world around him for the moment. His eyes stared lifelessly at the ground, still as stone. The day was barely scraping by fast enough, he thought it would never end. The cold was harsh on his black fur, but he didn't try to curl up or moving to a less breezy place. He just continued staring into space.

"We don't need to much, just enough to last til we can restock from the plants by the river. They tend to be healthier there, normally." His tail swished back and forth. Shyshadow then began to nip some of the leaves off of the catmint plant.

"Of course not," Brightpaw meowed, letting out a purr of laughter. "He's out with the medicine cats, helping them. Plus, I wanna improve and surprise him!" Brightpaw's tail swished back and forth.

He noticed how excited she semmed and smiled, flicking her ears with his tail. He trotted along until they came to the river. "Okay.." He mewed, lifting his muzzle to scent for voles. He somehow managed to track down a hole in theground under a bed of reeds nearby- it smelled strongly of vole. He stuck his nose into the hole, then when he pulled it out it was covered in sand. He sneezed, then laughed.

"Isn't it?" Tigerfoot laughed as Deadoaw rolled on the warm stones. Alright, just a bit, then. He nodded to himself all official-like, and leaned down, gently plucking the leaves off the plant with a strong pair of jaws. He made extra care not to harm any of the leaves, looking rather focused. Tigerfoot always tried to put his all into everything he did, whether it be hunting or helping someone out.

".. Right." He said in response to Tigerfoot, nearly sighing in annoyance at the young cat's mouse-brained question. Killing trees? Who even..? Adderfur shook his head; so childish. Standing up, the large warrior turned away. "I'm going hunting. You can come with, or go back to camp. You shouldn't be out alone; there are still badgers around here," he said to the apprentice, eyes narrowed. He silently hoped that the smaller tom would go back to camp, but.. Gah, why did he give him the option of coming with?!

"You've um.. Got a little something.. All over your muzzle!" Lightpaw giggled, sneaking a peek at his sand-covered face. He was so silly. So, it looked like there were no voles in that hole.. She inhaled the air herself, glancing around. Aha! She dropped into a crouch, violet eyes scanning the surrounding undergrowth. Lightly crawling on the sand, she held her breath, only pouncing at the last second. Lightpaw stood up, a limp vole in her mouth. Feeling rather proud of herself as she held her prey, she smiled at Triggerpaw, which probably looked really awkward with something in her mouth.

He grinned, shaking his head to get rid of the sand covering his muzzle. He watched as she made an impressive catch- he smiled at her. "Great catch!" He purred, swishing his tail along the ground. In the next few minutes, he managed to catch his own mouse as it hid under a holly bush. He carried it back to Lightpaw, grinning goofily as he held the robin in his mouth. His eyes sparkled with laughter, although his mouth was too full to do so.

The silver she-cat surveyed the camp, her eyes darting back and forth as she searched for the familiar brown pelt of SnowClan's deputy. Seeing no cat which looked remotely Tigerfoot ( apart from Sorrelclaw and Undertow, whose pelts look similar to the deputy, but not that similar; markings on each pelt vary, after all ), Ｆrostpaw let out a small purr of amusement. "I suppose you're right." The younger apprentice meowed out before she shot a quick glance at the camp entrance. Tail tip twitching, Frostpaw's eyes darted back to look at her mentor just once, before she turned to Ｂrightpaw. A mischievous glint evident and obvious in her amber eyes, the silver apprentice prodded the the older tom in the flank with her tail. "Race you to the valley?"

Sorrelclaw, her nerves frazzled, brushed off the dust and leaves from her fur. She sat on the edge of the rock and groomed her smoky-coloured pelt. As she did so, she spotted raven-furred Nightpaw chasing after a mouse. Suddenly feeling playful, she smirked and slid into the bushes. Waiting until Nightpaw was near the bountiful killpile, she leapt out and laughed, tumbling head over heels. "What's that you've got?" she asked after regaining her balance.
