Sableheart stirred in the Warriors Den, blinking open his green eyes as he raised to his paws, flicking his tail. He then exited, approaching the fresh kill pile, his stomach rumbling in hunger. I guess I'll have a sparrow, he thought.

Sunfoot padded over to Sableheart, hoping to make a new friend out of the cat. She had a few acquaintances among her clanmates, but some of them were very bitter and unwelcoming. Sableheart seemed nice enough, so she took the chance and trotted right up to him, closing her eyes and smiling, "Hello there!" Truthfully she'd been bored, it seemed like everyone else that she know well was at the gathering despite her apprentice, Willowpaw.

Perking his ears, the brown tomcat turned, facing Sunfoot with a warm grin. "Hello, Sunfoot. Would you like to share some prey with me?" At his paws was a fairly plump and large sparrow, and he gave a flick of an ear, wavering his tail counter - clockwise.

Full of gratitude, Sunfoot replied, "Oh... sure, thanks!" Accepting the offer she awaited the tom to take the first bite. After all she hadn't eaten and it was almost time for the cats at the gathering to arrive back at camp. I'm not tired, perhaps I'll stay up and watch the camp.

Right now was one of those times when Ivynose was hit with the memories of her mate and 2 kits dying, and that she only had Acornpaw. I'll protect him with my life. Starclan, don't make Acornpaw die. When he's old enough, please bless him with a beautiful mate and kits! Ivynose was grieving for her daughters, Featherkit and Barkkit, and her mate, Snowpelt. Her kits did not deserve to die so young. Luckily, if it wasn't for Snowpelt, Acornpaw would have been dead too. She started crying, even though it had been a long time ago. Suddenly, she felt as if Starclan was betraying her when her mate and all but one of her kits died. Ivynose was mad at the whole forest now. She decided to go on a walk so no cat would bother her.

Acornpaw saw his mother crying and ran over to comfort her. He too would be hit with grief at random times, and he knew how it felt. "Mother, Starclan wants us to move on, just not forg-" "Leave me alone!" His mother yowled. Acornpaw understood and went back to his den. At the times he had remembered his sisters and father, he didn't want to talk to anybody either.
