"Oh." Koitail meowed, sitting down. "I'd just figure I'd see if you wanted to talk or something. I'm bored out of my mind."

"I'm not much of a talker, so you got the wrong cat." He shrugged, "Embershade can't keep his trap shut" He rolled his eyes but smirked, before settling down, looking up at the sky as he curled his tail around himself.

Koitail merrowed quietly. "I can go, if you don't want to talk. I'll understand."

Ashblaze let out a huff, "You might as well stay since you are here, I'm just warning you. I don't talk much" He grumbled, shifting his golden gaze to the she cat beside him, ears flicking calmly.

Koitail nodded, and laid down, tucking her paws underneath her. "Do you and Embershade get along well?"

Ashblaze shrugged ho's shoulders, "Most of the time, surprisingly yes. We are polar opposites... It's probably why we can both get along well and argue forever" He shrug again, "Do you have any siblings?" He asked.

"Smokestar." Koitail stated simply. She expected a dumbfounded gaze, so she continued,"I was born in the other clan, and when my father left I followed him and grew up here. Smokestar is my brother, but I haven't really spent time with him since we were kits."

Ashblaze nodded, not surprised nor bewildered at that fact. He was just shocked at the fact that they looked so different. "But.. You have.." He glanced at her stubby tail, "No tail, and he does. How did those genes work that way? Wouldn't he have no tail as well?" He questioned curiously.

Fawnpaw nodded, following behind closely. She trotted up to Softpaw's side. "So..is my brother a good mentor?" She asked, wondering if Sheepbelly's general kindness allowed him to be a good teacher or not. She shrugged, but smiled at the strong bond between her and her brother.

Softpaw grinned, "The best! I never knew I could have so much fun learning about herbs!" She chirped happily. Her tail flicked as they neared the river. "I'll try to find the catmint."

Rose lied sadly in the hollow tree, she was in Lionclan territory. The young loner flicked her tail in bordem.
