Silenstep trotted out of camp, and crouched down, spotting a squirrel. After a while of waiting, she leaped and pinned the squirrel down, nipping it on it's spine to kill it. She winced in pain, one of her paws collapsing under her. She flipped over her paw to see a bit of blood covering her pad. She sighed and picked up the Squirrel in her jaws, limping on the paws into camp, and set it down in the fresh kill pile. After she did that, she limped in to Heatherblossom. "Heatherblossom?" She called, trotting in. "My paw pad is bleeding, somehow.'' She meowed. She purred in amusement at Night playing with the moss ball, remembering when she was a kit.

Night ran up to silentstep. "You ok momma?"

She nodded and licked Night on the head gently. "I just hurt my paw. I'll be fine." She promised her.

Riverstorm
He flicks his ear, confused. "I beg your pardon?" He mews, tilting his head. "Are you.. trying to run from someone, If I may ask?"

Heatherblossom
She blinks up at Silentstep. "Oh, Yeah. No problem." She mews, padding off to get the herbs for Silentstep's paw. She returns just a few seconds later, some cobwebs and a dried oak leaf in her mouth. She carefully examines her friend's paw, and finds a thorn. She gently licks the pad, easing the thorn out, and plucks it carefully once it's loose enough, placing the leaf and cobwebs on afterward. "There." She mews. "Just a thorn. Should be better by tomorrow morning." She smiles to Silentstep.

Night nuzzled her lovingly

She nodded to Heatherblossom, and turned to Night. "Are you hungry?" She meowed to her. She purred as Night nuzzled her.

Night nodded eagerly at the mention of food.

Heatherblossom
Heatherblossom blinks concernedly at her apprentice, but doesn't argue. She turns to Night and gives her a gentle lick on the head. "You can stay in here, but just be careful of what you play with, okay, little one?" She mews. She turns her attention to a small ball of moss; one Dreampaw had played with in the past, but had completely forgotten about now. She noses the small ball to Night. "You can play with this if you'd like." She purrs, her eyes wide with care. She turns back around to Heavypaw. "As I was saying, could you please get some honey and wet moss for Icewing? They're in the middle, each one right next to each-other, though you'll have to wet the moss yourself, of course." She mews, then turns back to Night to entertain her, batting the Moss back to each time it went too far away.[/color]

Heavypaw walked back into the medcat den. He grabbed some moss and wet in a corner. He carefully sat it down so it wouldn't spill. He went back to the storage and grabbed a beech leaf. He would have to go out of camp to find honey. He quickly left, holding the empty beech leaf in his jaws. Heavypaw glanced upwards to see a bee's nest. "Perfect.." He mewed to himself. Heavypaw climbed carefully up the tree, he crawled under the nest and took a twig. He put the stick in the opening carefully with his jaws. With one wipe he had gotten a glob of sweet honey. He was tempted to eat some but knew Icewing would be needing it more. Heavypaw climbed down the tree and put the glob of honey on the leaf. She darted back into camp with the leaf. "Heatherblossom? Where is Icewing?"

She points to Icewing with her tail, a few nests down from her, about in the middle of the den. "Right there." She mews.

Icewing
She had already begun to fall asleep again from the poppy seeds, but she forced herself awake for a few moments, as her throat hurt her so bad she couldn't bear it any longer. "Yep... I'm-I'm right here..." She mews, sleepiness in her voice.

Riverstorm
He blinks worriedly, unsure of how to answer. Though, he had remembered how his sisters had been pampered by some twolegs, remembering how odd it was; he thought this was no life for a cat. "Well... Maybe... Maybe if my fa- I mean, my leader allows it, we could take you into IceClan for protection. We reside in a desert area, and even if your Two-legs did find us, then the whole clan would attack. You'd have nothing to worry about." He promises her, though he wasn't sure about it himself.

Heavypaw padded over to Icewing, he set down the wet moss and honey in front of her. He took the wet moss and let her drink the cold water.

Stell seemed a little bit skeptical but soon shrugged it off. "Thank you." The pregnant shecat was greatful for a safe place to stay. "I wouldn't mind joining this..Clan of yours?"
